This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]497089[/split]
I remember the week of Cousin Shawn. He believed Dony simply because Dony PM'd him a last name.
Talion's "source" is Jeff Sneider
From what I heard it's a teenager... did they change it or was that false information?Looks like Dylan is playing a 28 year old in Deepwater horizon...
@Oscorp the source is from a Tradesite and that's all I'm ALLOWED to say.
I missed the entire "Cousin Shawn" fiasco. Anyone kind enough to briefly summarize what went down, lol?

Ahhhhhhh, gotcha. I'm gonna miss all this drama once the actor is cast lol! Thanks again m8.So, about a month back, Dony came on and said he has a 17-year-old cousin named Shawn who auditioned for an unspecified role. Then Cousin Shawn got called back with a select few others for a second round of auditions, where he was allegedly told it was for Spider-Man. Essentially it was to confirm LR's poopy scoop that they were looking at teens. After a brief meltdown amongst users, I called him out on the fact that he name dropped his cousin on this forum where his story would be copied to other places. He tried to explain Cousin Shawn was safe because he hadn't revealed a last name, a name which harryoscorp PM'd about. I came back and said that a last name doesn't matter if he was the only person named Shawn to audition, let alone make it to the second round.
Craigslist?@Oscorp the source is from a Tradesite and that's all I'm ALLOWED to say.

Either way they have one weird way of casting... casting that much younger would be a bit silly... can you imagine a 11 year old playing 15 year old PP?
No? Y'know why? Once you hit around 18 it no longer matters near as much. One year ages you as much as a day did when you were 10.
Casting a 18-25 year old shouldn't be as big of a problem as some think.
Talion'll fit right in with the other pooper scoopers
Yeah, anything can change between now and 2017..Fine, I won't push you more. The source might be right, but there's no point in people (Talion) going "You're stupid if you believe those guys, but believe me because I have....sources, that I will ask....when the time is right". If you can't actually show proof of the sources, then you shouldn't expect people to take your word for it.
Yeah, anything can change between now and 2017..
Kevin Feigue seemed unsure about "The actor age we'll eventually to cast" so that might mean that they're going through teenage actors and all of them aren't clicking for the studios... so just like Sony they might end up going older with Dylan.

Wait, harry was the only one who was shown the full name? The only one that was trusted? So, about a month back, Dony came on and said he has a 17-year-old cousin named Shawn who auditioned for an unspecified role.
