Exactly. the guy that played Flash: Chris Zylka would have been a good Peter.
It doesn't really matter that he looks like a jock, as long he dresses differently and plays a different role, he's good

You know what **** it. Let me explain something. Just because an actor looks like something or someone or like he can only portray one personality doesn't mean he is/can. Take Jesse Eisenberg for example he portrayed a regular student when he was younger in the film The Emporers Club and now he's portraying one of the most genius evil mastermind villians in the DC Universe. Sprayberry basically portrayed what Peter Parker would be in Man of Steel. He's a regular student who tries to act normal but will not hesitate to use his powers to rescue those in need even if it comes at the cost of revealing his identity and putting himself and his loved ones in danger.

You see the problem is I can't predict the future and I know that. If they were to go with Asa Butterfield, Matteus Ward, Isaac Hempstead-Wright, or my(and I know your) personal favorite Dylan O'Brien we wouldn't be able to predict how they would portray the character. It may be something completely worse or better than we all expected. But that sir, is just in my opinion.

@PeterBenParker, I can see him in the role as well. For some reason he reminds me of the version of Peter from the MTV Series.

Yeah, Liam Aiken is the worst choice (since McPhee is out), I mean just Iook him:

Dude always looks like he's stoned.

Max Records looks just a little too.. odd and weird:

I don't have a problem with most of the suggestions on this forum, but they are by far the worst.

I find it funny how people don't like the "ugly/weird" adjectives yet some using something ever worse and dumb as "he looks like a *****e" I rolled my eyes everytime someone used that against O'Brien

Because I struggle with believing that a simple change in dress is going to change that.

He's probably my least favorite choice being suggested so far. I sat through him in season four of Teen Wolf. Not particularly a fan.

I'm digging the Everett suggestion though. He's really impressed me on Supernatural.
