Just saw X+Y and I'm starting to warm to Butterfield more and more.
And tbh, he doesn't look as awkward and weird as he did in 2010/2012

And unlike Lerman he actually has a sense of humor and I could totally see him pulling off the wise-cracking ass hole-ish persona for Spider-Man.

That was like two weeks ago and now that I actually watched GoT I don't really want Isaac anymore.

So what made you want him before? It's not like he was the very spitting image of Peter. He looks like a girl and sounds camp, so that doesn't conjure up images of Peter at all.

He looks like the spitting image of SSM Peter and he sounds like Sean Marquette from the USM video game.

I think Isaac is awesome in GoT. I'm a GoT fan and he's my favourite character, and the best young actor on the show.

I've seen Asa as a possible PP actor for a pretty long time in this thread, and I won't toss him away because of some new suggestion popping up.

But I guarantee they wouldn't make him wear contacts if he was cast. They'd be uncomfortable and they're not essential to Peter's character.
