The now NEW Official DC Stupid Questions thread: Didio Headaches - Part 2

Wasn't there some ads a while back, I think right after Amazons Attack, where it was basically the male equivalent of the Amazons were going to show up. Maybe it was a part of the Brave New World thing. I think it was actually.

When Gail Simone was writing WW's comic and doing some heavy post-Amazons Attack damage control, she created the male Amazons (Gargareans). But that all got erased when JMS' Odyssey storyline erased Wonder Woman's old continuity, and her new continuity got erased by the New52 relaunch.

Wonder Woman has a reputation for her continuity getting effed up by writers who keep trying to "fix" her comic.

Womp did you read Superman: Sacrifice or For Tomorrow? Both have great depictions of battles with Superman and Wonder Woman.

I've read sacrifice, which had Superman under mind control. Which one is For Tomorrow?

Edit: Hush, are you really going to say that Wonder Woman is stronger than ****ing Superman??? Come on man; you are living in a fantasy world. (Yes, a world in which it is a greater fantasy than the fact that these two even exist)

She's certainly Stronger than the Martian Manhunter. I'd say she's the second physically strongest in the League. So, you know, your list is flawed. :o

For Tomorrow is the Jim Lee/Azzerello story that was written after Hush. It's amazing.

I don't think she is stronger but she could definately kill him. You act like she is some whimp, she routinely is shown to be his equal. Even under mind control Diana put up a damn good fight actually subdued him.

Plus, Sacrifice was a different situation than Mind Control. It wasn't so much that somebody was trying to control him and make him fight her, it was that they were making him see her as one of his physically most powerful enemies who just ripped his wife in half right in front of him.

In which she still held her own in my opinion, she even cut his throat with her damn tiara!

We are not talking fights here God damnit. The stupid question was who is strongest. Not who has the most magical tiara.

That's what WW thought, til something is revealed in the issue. I don't go into detail about it because I don't wanna spoil to someone not reading it. Because you totally should read the book.

What book? What title and issues should I look for?

The issue of fights come into play in this conversation Womp, if she beat his ass in Sacrifice wouldn't that say she was on the same level of strength that day?

Because you will never see a comic where Superman backhands Diana like a ho. That's why.

Come on dude. Just wrap it in spoilers. I gotta know.

I'm not saying she's stronger than he, don't know what hush is talkin about. Just that shes up there with him. Certainly stronger than everybody not superman. That said, she is nowhere near as durable.

What are the current sales for the Flash?

You not spilling the WW plot details.

Ok.

Wonder Woman tries to overthrow Hephaestus' "operation" to free the Amazonian men only for them to ask her to leave them be with Hephaestus because he has been a father to them and that were it not for him, they would have been drowned by the Amazon women as infants.

So while it was messed up that Hephaestus "traded weapons for more men to man his forge" it was actually an act of mercy. In his forge they feel that they are artists.

Back when Batman had a plan to stop every member of the Justice League, is it true that he had a plan to stop himself if he went rogue? If so, does anyone know what it was?

A 10yo boy in short shorts. :o
