both of the big 2 do that, though. Releasing the paperback so long after the hardback is a dirty trick, and they are *******s for doing it.

Another reason I love digital. :o

well, the reason I like trades better than issues is because it usually comes out to be cheaper. Especially when I order from Amazon.

but you know, enjoy paying the same cover price for digital.

Actually after a month it's a dollar cheaper. Not to mention those 99 cent sales.

I guess I just never noticed because I don't trade wait the Marvel books I get.

I know Kirkman's image titles have the trades released first, but that's because the hardcovers have more issues.

I pay 2 dollars an issue for 90% of the digital comics I buy. Except for Marvel. Because they're *******s.

Which, when you do the math, is pretty much equal (or maybe like 2 dollars more) than tpbs. Plus I only have to be a month beyond, and not six.

And that's not counting all of the comics ill buy when there's a half off sale going on. I got all of Justice a few weeks ago for 12 dollars, when the currently in print hardcover is like 25 bucks on amazon.

So there.

I didn't know they discounted after a month. Do both companies do that? Or just DC?

Everyone but Marvel does it.

Image and other Indie publishers even reduce their 3.50 and 4 dollar comics down to 2 after a month. It's pretty nice.

Marvel just takes a really long time to do it. I've been buying the new Ultimate Spiderman on Comixology for 1.99, but still the new Ultimate X-Men and Scarlet Spider are 3.99 after they've been out for 5+ issues. I don't know what their schedule is but eventually older stuff will drop cuz now I'm starting to read X-Factor and SHIELD for 1.99.

Yeah, I did just notice that. I'm guessing they drop the price when the tpb comes out or something.

Either way, they're stil a bunch of ***** when compared to what the other publishers are doing. Especially since most DC and Image books are only 3 dollars to begin with.

Then why are you reading Flashpoint?

Because I keep hearing good things about it. And it's not that I DON'T like Flash, he's just not one I follow. Mostly, I'm reading it for the Batman aspect.

I want Flashpoint and the Batman mini. I was just curious if I should read anything else along with them that's important or somehow impacts the reading of the 2 minis I'm definately reading.

Don't listen to Anubis. Flashpoint is pretty good.

Is Barry Allen a victim of character derailment?

You mean mischaracterization?

Eh, not really.

He was for a while, when he was all mopey post-Flash: Rebirth. I understand Manapul's corrected that in his current series, though.

Oh yeah, Johns ****ed him up. Pre-Flashpoint.

He wasn't that bad in Flashpoint, though.

Does Barry ruining the entire universe not count as mischaracterization?

Here's a question:

What were the names and occupations of all of the supporting character's in Greg Rucka's Wonder Woman run?

All I can remember is Ferdinand at the moment.

Mr.Gerabaldi.

That was the chief of staff dude whose kid got turned to stone by Medusa.
