One of the best cold opens they've had in a while, to be honest.

Thanks to last night's episode, I now know that Chappell Roan's name is pronounced "Chapel" and not "Chappelle".

It was a good show, up there with Bargatze's as best of the season so far. Kamala's appearance in the cold open was great and I always love to see further installments of the Mulaney musical sketches.

Kenan's Little Richard was also gold.

I actually thought the beginning of the show was funny, all things considered. As far as coping with the reality of a terrible situation, that cold open was at least the better option than Kate McKinnon as Hillary singing "Hallelujah".

At least we got a pretty good Digital Short with Samberg and I thought the Domingo one was funny but it does come off as very desperate to do it again only a month after the first one. I was skeptical about Charli XCX as a host but she did fine.
