I think he just lets the booking team go nuts with it. The show's all about bringing in up and coming musical guests. Sometimes they end up going places, sometimes they don't.

At least we got a pretty good Digital Short with Samberg and I thought the Domingo one was funny but it does come off as very desperate to do it again only a month after the first one. I was skeptical about Charli XCX as a host but she did fine.

I was about to say, it's hilarious the best sketch last week was this and it was cut from the show.

This easily could have replaced the Wicked auditions sketch that kind of unfairly had Chloe Fineman doing most of the impressions.

Damn, that's fast. Domingo grew on me more in the second sketch. It's funny enough but it seems more like they're hyping Marcello Hernandez up because they're desperate to have another star in the cast since Bowen Yang is probably closer to the end of his tenure if he's coming up in Hollywood. Personally I thought Marcello's character in the Immigrant Dad Show sketch was way funnier. I'd love to see that one as a recurring sketch.

Last night was really good.

The office Christmas party one hit home because my work party is on Tuesday night. Only difference is we're not wild enough to have it at the actual office.

Also loved seeing Sandler come in and cause chaos. Hope he comes back to host later in the season, maybe to promote Happy Gilmore 2.
