The Office Season 7 - Part II

Yes we did. Out of everyone in the office, he has always had the best relationship with Pam.

Hell, he didn't even get along with Erin in the beginning for the simple fact that she wasn't Pam.

Actually, that would be Jim. Not to mention Pam hated him for dating and then breaking up with her mom.

She hated Michael for dating her mom because of the fact that she knew him well enough to know it was bad news.

I mean seriously, you really think that would've been a proper ending for Michael and Pam? With him taking off to Colorado while she saw a movie.

Even freaking GABE got a goodbye from Michael.

She shouldn't have gone to the movie. She should have been at the office so he could say good-bye that way. Not force the scene at the airport.

Exactly. Michael told everyone at the office that he wasn't leaving for another day.

Then as the PPC was getting on her nerves, she decided to go out to buy a new paper shredder, to replace the one Kevin broke...then saw a movie.

What are you, the hall monitor?

She shouldn't go to a movie during work. It doesn't matter if she thought it was Michael's last day or not.

And they shouldn't have a party every day, bring a gun into the office, put the weird guy's stuff in Jello, hire a camera crew to film everyone's lives, let that crew follow people into the bathroom, let senile old men be the boss, let senile old men use the ladies room. They break a lot of rules. Are you looking for a reason to hate the episode? Because if doing something you shouldn't at work pisses you off that much this should be your most hated show of all time, because that's pretty much the only thing they do on this show.

And they shouldn't have a party every day,
They don't though.

bring a gun into the office,
Dwight was punished for that.

put the weird guy's stuff in Jello,
That's a harmless prank that was only done in the pilot.

hire a camera crew to film everyone's lives,
They all had to consent to it though.

let that crew follow people into the bathroom,
The never barged in on anyone and, again, consent.

let senile old men be the boss,
Creed isn't senile. And he had seniority.

let senile old men use the ladies room.
He pays for that privilege :o

I'm not looking for any reason to hate the episode. I didn't even hate it, I just hated how forced the Pam scene was at the end. Why couldn't they have just made it that she got stuck in traffic? Having her go to a movie is just stupid and makes her look even worse this season (like when she conned her way into that office manager position).

I agree that Pam seeing a movie was unnecessary. I don't know why they put it in then there. Going out to buy a new paper shredder should have been reason enough to miss Michael's goodbye at the office.

I had assumed that she said she was going to buy a shredder, but instead went to the movie to get away from work for a couple of hours. Hasn't she done something similar before?

I thought she had gone to get the shredder and then went to see the movie. Either way, seeing the movie was bad.

The only thing that was similar that I can recall was when she and Jim went to a store to buy things for Kevin when he thought he might have had cancer.

Jenna Fischer was pretty attractive in Hall Pass.

I wouldnt say Id be done with the show, but I would be very dissapointed if any of Romano, Tate, Spader, Arnett, or Carrey became the new boss. I wouldnt stop watching(probably) but it SHOULD be someone like Dwight, Andy, or Darryl!

Or, you know, JIM! :cmad:

Am I the only one who noticed that when they get to the part of the movie where she goes to see her parents for the rest of the film that Jenna had a really bad tan...she's pretty much orange for the duration of the movie.

Almost looked like a spray tan.

Yeah, the tan was pretty bad. It was kind of distracting.

Yeah, I did too. It was almost comical. My guess is that it was covered in a deleted scene.

I'm watching the rerun of Goodbye Michael. and I still hate how Pam just goes to see a movie. If they had offered explanation, maybe it would've worked. But it was just...there.

How was this not explained, lol. Look where she works , they break in the middle of the day to have useless meetings, why would she be in a rush to get back when there's no consequence.

and Blades of Glory , my god

And the time she took pictures for Jane magazine.

It's one thing to have a meeting with Michael Klump or Prison Mike to learn about obesity and prison. But it's a completely different thing when you go see a ****ing movie during work. That's just crossing the line, even for the office.
