Well, its that time...and I am very happy to admit that I was dead wrong about Daniel Craig. I initially did not like the casting. The blonde hair bothered me, the ugliness bothered me, everything about him bothered me.

I was wrong.

While I still consider him too ugly to play James Bond and did not care for his hair (hopefully next movie they make it a tad darker and slick it back), damned if he didn't pull one hell of a performance. While he may not have the wit and charm of Brosnan (although, neither did Brosnan in his first movie), or the rugged good looks of Connery...by the time he shoots his second kill and utters his "Yes, quite" quip, you have completely forgotten about Pierce Brosnan. Daniel Craig is James Bond.

I don't Downey Jr. Being as he pretty much is Tony Stark (a drunk, millionaire, playboy) he should be fine.

Routh, who knows...if Singer actually gave Superman some emotion or character in, y'know...the Superman movie we might be able to judge.

I hated the casting when I first heard it. I still think he doesn't have the Bond look (he may be a thug in the books, but he still is supposed to be handsome in a ruggish way)....BUT he was excellent as James Bond.

I will not join the bandwagon and say he topped Brosnan (especially after one film) but he is better than most Bonds and did a terrific job and I liked him in the role thus.

Agreed, although right now I will deem him the third best Bond

1) Brosnan (yes, Brosnan. Connery may have invented Bond for the screen, but Brosnan perfected him. Brosnan had the perfect balance between a witty, charming, handsome man and a cold killer).
2) Connery
3) Craig.

I always had a feeling that he would do brilliant. I am glad that feeling never ended and that I supported Craig from day one.

He's made me proud to be a fan of James Bond. He captured what I always felt James Bond should be.

Pierce Brosnan has always and will always be "James Bond" to me but Craig didnt do bad. Im not quite sure how i feel about him tho, i mean i deff didnt hate him. Im sure that doesnt make much sense but im just not sure yet. Guess that means i gotta watch the movie again.
