Well Edgar Wright was writing his script several decades ago when Michael Douglas was still starring in the Streets of San Francisco. He finally got it finished and amazingly still got the actor he wanted way back then to star as Hank Pym. So it's natural that they're going to be extremely slow with news as well.

i already knew that Rudd was funny. i wonder how funny Douglas' Pym will be; if at all. i also how much of a screw-up Scott Lang is going to be. will he have custody of his daughter? or will what happens to her be a challenge to his irresponsibility. he has been described as a thief. that implies something more than him being a desperate single father. hmmm.

Actress Eden Sher (Sue Heck) on the show "The Middle" said she visited Marvel today to pick up some comics and to meet with Marvel.

Could she be Cassie? Or is she a bit too old for Cassie? She's 22 in real life although portrays a high schooler in The Middle.

I don't know about that. Maybe she could be if they are able to work around her schedule on "The Middle" which I believe will be picked up for another season.

I wonder if there will be any setup tease for this movie from another Marvel movie. Guardians of the Galaxy doesn't seem like it would be a fit, and this is getting released only a couple of months after Avengers, so it will be too late by then.

but isn't that sorta ideal? if Avengers 2 is enjoyable, then Ant-man benefits. it will be fresh in the general audience's mind.

My expectation is Avengers AoU would set up Avengers 3 just like Avengers 1 did. But I wouldn't mind an Ant-Man setup then. Guardians definitely seems an unlikely candidate.

Refresh my memory, what's the movie after? Cap 3? You think Ant-Man will tease that at the end?

Eden Sher could of met Marvel for a film role or role on the Netflix shows or Agents Of Shield/Agent Carter or a One Shot role.

One would think Marvel would use the popularity of A:AoU to delve into the world of Ant-Man since it would be their most popular franchise passing the baton to an unknown franchise in the eyes of the GA. They have GotG to set up the Thanos thing so I'm hoping they do the smart thing and show Ant-Man on a secret mission that ties them together or something
