Someone made an excellent point on another board:
"The "Pym should be Ant-Man" debate is hilarious. First of all, Pym IS Ant-Man in the movie, only in flashbacks. Second of all, Pym was only Ant-Man for the first issue of Avengers before becoming Giant Man, and only even made 5 appearances in Avengers as Ant-Man after that between 1963 and 1998. He spent most of his time as Giant Man, Yellowjacket, and Goliath, and the rest of the time quitting the team or consulting sporadically. Meanwhile, Scott Lang has been nothing but Ant-Man since 1979. He wasn't even married to Jan that long. Why does anybody get riled up about Scott Lang as Ant-Man in a movie and not Barry Allen as Flash on a TV show or Hal Jordan as Green Lantern in a movie? By that rationale, it should be Jay Garrick and Alan Scott. I guess nobody's gonna angrily point out that Natasha Romanov isn't the original Black Widow, right?"

Cool Banner looks good, glad the leaked yellow jacket images were true. I like the look a lot.

They could of gone with O'Grady for Ant-Man. It is all a matter of personal choice. None of the three are undeserving of seeing a big screen adaptation. I'm not too bothered personally.
I think the bottom line is Pym has a following that dwarfs Lang's and therefor think he should be a character more deserving of a full on live action treatment, not Lang.
They are mechanical arms rather than tentacles and they are most likely influenced by the militarized O'Grady G.I. Ant-Man suit mixed with the traditional yellowjacket costume.

Doc Ock's tentacles are just mechanical arms too, there just called tentacles. They should get rid of the arms and give him wings,he's suppose to look like a yellow jacket, instead of looking like Doc Ock.
So when is the trailer dropping?
Awesome!!!I guess they may have it début with Agent Carter on the 6th of January.
Why not? Yellowjacket's have six arms in real life.
