Trailer is definitely more character driven. The only action shots are cars being thrown (WHICH I DIDN'T SEE, BUT PEOPLE SAY IT'S THERE) and the much talked about 1st person POV end scene. I would wait if I were you.

I didn't see that scene either.

The shot with the cars being tossed is in there. Its by the part where Van Atter says "Do you have any idea what you really are?".

By the way I get a felling Atter will be a bigger character in this than some expected. I still have an inclination he might become Proto Goblin. Nothing to back it up but just my own speculation.

As for the cars flipping well that can either be Lizard, Spider-Man or _________ .

I crumbled (damn I'm weak!)... dont really regret it though, cause a lot was character driven... I think it looks so freaken badass!!! Definitely something else compared to the Raimi ones. Not sure if it'll succeed yet, who knows right... But I'm digging it!

Two things:

1: Did anybody notice the shot of Peter looking in the mirror and pulling out some webfluids from the bite in his neck? Yes, he was like pulling it out - like a grey hair you dont wanna see come back!... It was Cronenbergs "The Fly" right then and there! Dark, but badass!

2: The last POV scene. I think the idea is badass, and it should be some roller-coaster ride in amazing 3D, when it's up on the big screen! BUT! did those arms look frightenly CG, or is it me??? I know it's blurry and shouldn't be too hasty to judge. I just got that feeling when I saw it, hmm. That last scene is in particular a win OR fail scene! We shouldn't have a spidey 1-peter running on the rooftop-BAD cg feeling when we see this final money shot!

Other then that, WOW!

Like I said before, he might blackmail Connors into this Lizard thing. When he says "Ready to play God?" it sounds aggressive, like he is getting annoyed at Connors attempts to break away or something similar.

I don't understand everyone problem with the POV scene. Obviously I'd grow tired of it if every single time Spidey sprung to action it was used, but I'd actually enjoy 2 or 3 POV sequences in there AS LONG THERE ARE NO POV FIGHT SEQUENCES. ****. THAT.

And Naite, you have asked many times for a description so here's a completely full and in depth trailer description for you and for anyone else that wants to read what they're in for but not see it...

From what I could barely make out/see on youtube -- a lot of the videos were only part of the trailer -- it looks great. Some great lighting and cinematography. They're definitely going for a much different vibe.

The delivery for that line was great on Garfields part. The dialogue and delivery seems incredibly strong in this movie and that's always something that makes one sigh of relief.

it's true. the cars beeing thrown is definitely there, but it's quick. I'm afraid for the HD version of this thing. Only because of the end. those arms and legs in the end during the POV sequence (which I find cool!), had better NOT look CG the slightest! Otherwice we're back to spidey 1! Definitely a win or fail moment in this trailer.

You want a reveal of The Lizard...in a teaser...for a movie coming out in 1 year.

Bane is human, there is only so much speculation that can go into his character. The Lizard is...THE LIZARD! Plus, I have a feeling we will see him at Comic Con.

I think the Spider-Man movies are some of their better work actually.

I'm pretty confident they're proficient enough to make another really great model. Spider-Man 3 maybe many different things to different people one thing I think most of us can agree on that the effects were very impressive.

They still hold up. The Blu Ray is beautiful of this.

Although I wouldn't mind ILM or WETA giving Spidey a shot.

I'm sorry, do you wanna run that by me one more time!? I'm sure you've made some MAJOR typos here, cause how can the last POV scene in this spidey teaser NOT outdo the last 2 seconds of footage in Rises, where Bane comes in from the side??? I'm not following.

Oh, and the Avengers teaser (while cool) looks so ridiculously standard, compared to this new fresh piece of spidey cinema, we've just seen! The FEEL of it is something else indeed, and that the low crappy quality can't even ruin.

I have faith in Sony Imageworks this time because there won't be as much CGI as in the Raimi films which means they have more time for polish.

Plus, when the teaser, in all its HD glory, lands on Thursday, we can see the final question of life...
