I love it, I have been very skeptical about this movie but from first glance I love what I'm seeing. Just wish the would have added a shot or two of Lizard but no complaints either way. 2012 can't come soon enough!

Agreed, though, I don't think it'll continue that way forever. If it does, we'll probably have a long break in between.

They can't have a break, Sony has to keep making movies or they lose the rights. That is if Sony Pictures is still even around next year after the rumor that they might sell it off. Then Marvel would get it and they can do whatever they want.

If Marvel were to get this, I don't think they would play the reboot game like these other studios. I will be extremely shocked if WB reboots Batman after Nolan's third movie. I would at least think they would be smart enough to try and at least keep Bale or keep the same world that his billion dollar franchise created.

Very good post, but how were you able to get all that from a teasseR? Some of that i think we can assume is correct but honeslty there is still alot about this movie we don't know.

I hope what your saying is true, because it makes for a interesting film.

But the fact that this is an origin film is still ****ing stupid as ****. Seriously remove the origin aspect and i am sold, but the origing aspect i feel is a bit odd

I do see your point here. I had also been against the origin prior to the leaked teaser and photos.

Most of the stuff I posted was indeed based on teaser, interviews and speculation. Yet, I am confident to state that more than half of what I have in that list is as obvious as the fact that the Lizard will be the main villain, instead of Van Atter, who just plays a role of a supporting antagonist that is behind the trnasformation of Connors into the Lizard.

P.S. Thread Manager is like Jaws, you never know when it will atack!!!

Peter is sewing his suit (and or mask he uses in that EW picture)...and the WANTED poster on his wall is Uncle Ben's killer. Looks like he becomes Spider-Man to track him down.

Been following reactions on Twitter - many comment on the origin story and/or how it's trying to be like Batman. Perhaps they should make the next trailer lighter and more action based.

The teaser was average, the CGI wall-crawling plus the close up of the new spidey suit against the building window needs work. I am however very intrigued by seeing Richard and Mary Parker entrusting young Peter into the care of Uncle Ben and Aunt May . (I wonder if The Parkers are going to be revealed as spied who died in a plane crash like in the original continuity or if their scientists that are killed in an accidental plane crash with Brock's father like in the Ultimate continuity)

I have no idea.

Maybe they'll combine organic webbing with webshooters. Like the Spider gave him all the stuff needed to produce webs, but he can't shoot it or use it in a useful manner. So maybe, by taking samples of his own body, he manages to produce the web liquid, that everyone says would be impossible to invent, and he builds web-shooters to use them.
