i think it's the right time to introduce brainiac.

and the perfect actor to play this role is Keanu Reeves (as suggested by us)

i think it will definitely spice up this movie and make it the most anticipated movie in 2012 (beat Spidey 4) if they can get Keanu Reeves to play this role.

WB pls grab him!!!

ps: i totally love the suggestion that Micheal Keaton for Perry White!!!

wow... i start getting excited.

Well, since he's not an official villain yet, I guess an official thread for him is a bit premature.

However, a fresh new villains-thread is needed now.

Michael Sheen or Dominic West.

Since there is no chance for my pick to get it, hugo weaving, I say either matthew goode or keanu reeves.

both of them don't have the draw power.

Reeves has played the Little Buddha and the One in Matrix. he is prefect for this role!!!

it will definitely draw the public attention!!! it'll sell!!!

Alright then.

Reeves would be very appropriate for obvious reasons, but I wouldnt mind Goode's Bowie-like style either.

They might not have draw power but they do have the ability to act.

Something Reeves doesn't have.

You have to consider if he is used, will Snyder have an actual actor there, or mocap him?

Brainiac doesnt have to act like anything but being cold, calculating, and emotionless.

"You have to consider if he is used, will Snyder have an actual actor there, or mocap him? "

Probably both. If we do get Brainiac, my guess is the Doc Manhattan approach.

I agree. probably a blend.

and the best part is, for this type of role, you don't need to have the ability to act. it was born with it. and Reeves has it.

i imagine brainiac should be the main villain in the 2nd movie. this first movie should all concentrate on superman/cavill with some brief introduction of brainiac/Reeves.

wow. i can see huge crowd now! :P

I agree with those who mentioned Goode. I can definitely seeing him getting this role as a consolation.

SEND TO WB!!!! SEND TO SYNDER!!! NOW!!! it can make millions!!! then we will have superman movie in every couple of years!!!

Right. It does happen. Cillian Murphy auditioned for Batman, but got the Scarecrow. Who else?

I disagree about saving Brainiac for the 2nd film..this film is all or nothing for WB. They better bring everything and the kitchen sink.

WHen exactly are they going to start filming superman?
KEanu's going to make 47 RONIN and he's currently training for that flick . He's already been training for 2 months and still has another 4 months to go , followed by the shoot.

"Love it, great work!"

Thanx, mate. :)

And yes, it's all out in this one. That was SR's mistake. Especially since it didn't have an origin. Double up on boredom.

keanu reeves auditioned for superman??? when???

We are discussing the possibility of Goode getting the role considering he was a runner up for Superman and Snyder may be willing to throw him a bone as Nolan did with Murphy.
