Especially since it's so freaking obvious who's going to be played up as being "right."

Because he is right, he is always right. He is Captain Flippin' America.

And it's freaking annoying. Especially when they keep doing this "hero vs. hero" crap.

The idea I got from the trailer that there is suppose to be some sort of hard decision for Cap here. Which makes no sense with what we have seen when it comes to Steve, Bucky and Tony. Heck, Steve has spent most of the time opposite Tony's stupidity.

Yeah, Steve really hated Tony when he sacrificed himself and took the nuke into the wormhole, he wasn't even relieved when he lived. It wasn't a bonding moment like when Bucky murdered or tried to kill all his co-workers, shot him, stabbed him and bashed his face in with his metal arm. :oldrazz:

Seriously, the Bucky angle has to be just one part of the entire conflict or it's not Civil War as it doesn't explain why all the other Avengers would take sides and fight it out.

Makes you realize how weak the Steve/Tony relationship has really been. :funny:

Sorry, I... just have to...

*sigh*

This is all that matters to me. BUCKYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

The point is that Steve and Tony's friendship has never been properly established in the MCU thus far, at best they're co-workers who can be cordial to each other (but mostly argue/bicker).

Heck Tony/Banner has been a better established friendship.

Captain Marvel looked great. She was watching all this from a train.

I saw her! Here's Carol's reaction!

Here's how Carol reacted to Bucky and Cap beating up on Iron Man:

BTW, you're welcome for all the Yvonne Stahovski gifs. ;)

You are allowed to be annoyed by it, but I love it. Especially the way Evans plays the role. I would fight on his side.

Omg I am so surprised I didn't know this trailer was dropping today my body was not ready! Great trailer

Yeah I dont think Civil War is gonna start because Cap is protecting Bucky lol

I would fight for Team Evans... but probably for completely different reasons than you. :hmr:

Forget Bucky, if it is a choice of Sam vs Tony/ BW vs Tony or really anyone vs Tony, I see Steve easily going against Tony because he has been always on the other side.

I wonder if Tony finds out about WS killing his parents.
I can't really get hyped when all I can think about is TFA now but so far so good. I hope they don't make hypocrite Tony right. I also didn't like the color of the movie. Seems too gray. It should have the same color as WS. I liked the look and feel of WS.

And then my excitement was killed when I recalled that Star Wars date commercial and a post that I just read on FB reminding me that I am still single....... Sigh... -_-

But yes, I legitimately hyperventilated while watching that trailer ;)

I recorded a reaction video, but too bad I look stupid and ugly AF due to the fact that it was made at 11:15 PM and I was really tired

The same DOP for TWS did this movie.

I don't know... I saw no difference in the color schemes for this movie and TWS... Just me though?

So will this be the scene Stark finds out WS killed his parents and he confronts Cap or that's the same place they're hiding Bucky.

Edit: Is that Bucky in the background?

As I said earlier, the split between Steve and Nat is heartbreaking to me, because TWS built their relationship beautifully. GotG did a much better job of building relationships between the members then anything we have seen with Cap and Steve. They have gone out of their way t make them antagonistic towards one another.

Each time this gif is posted, a thousand more BuckyCap slashfics are born. :o

How you could look at that gif and be sighing over Bucky and not Steve is beyond me. :loco:

:cwink:

Both, m'dear. I'm am drooling over both!

(However, now that they're getting to the meat of Bucky's story, I'm probably just a wee bit more excited about them letting Seb have a ton more facial expressions than in WS!)

(P.S. I love Seb's cute wittle smile... y'know, before he goes into MURDERDEATHKILL mode with Tony! :cwink: )

Honestly it wouldn't bother me nearly as much if they wouldn't constantly do these hero vs. hero fights with him leading one side. Because EVERY SINGLE TIME, he ALWAYS played up as being right (Captain Gary Stu people) and other heroes get trashed just to make him look good. And it's not just Tony either.

Really my preferred ending would be seeing Cap pounded six feet into the pavement and completely and utterly defeated while Tony stands over him pointing out that he NOT always right and he's NOT god's gift to man.
