In the trailer breakdown the Russo Brothers did with Empire Online they said Black Panther's costume would get some CGI touch ups:

“It’s a combination of a practical costume and VFX. It’s a vibranium weave, a mesh, almost like a chainmail. Luminescence is something we have to do in post,”

That's why the suit looks different in the tunnel (and all the promo pics) compared to the outside shots. They're still doing VFX to add the "luminescence" to the suit.

Yeah, as expected. I knew they are gonna continue touching it up. Thanks for the bit about Luminescence. I didn't know about what the visual touch up type is going to be. Interesting. I guess it is going to be lighting and reflection enhancement.

That was and is gonna be a quick shot. Not meant to be cut out and slowed down like it was because you can see WS was a stuntman and the BP costume was a stunt suit.

Also, it can be hard to make black costumes pop in daylight. The Russos said they are still working on it.

Yeah I know. Read what I said carefully. I was merely mentioning I liked how he looked overall and the only part where I noticed he looks bland is that kick. It is early footage also. I am more confident and comfortable with VFX than most people and I know movies like these constantly get touch ups. So I am not worried at all. Just stating my observations with the current footage.

OT: Im being totally honest and not from a purposely hateful place, but that clip where Supes hits the Batmobile and then says "The Bat is Dead" etc was THE corniest thing Ive seen in awhile.

Im hoping the entire film isnt stuff like that. I wont be digging it. Im trying to keep an open mind about it.
