One thing that caught my eye from the reviews was that Red Skull was under developed, that is a real shame because I was hoping Hugo would kill and set RS as a premiere Villain in the MCU

I like that quote from the Todd Gilchrist review, it goes to show how hit and miss this may be with Critics, but you know what! It's alll good!

It's not the critics, it's rotten tomatoes. There are a lot of positive reviews out there that they haven't posted yet for some reason.

a lot of positive reviews are from sites/critics that RT's doesn't post. You can think up any conspiracy theory you'd like but some of these critics don't show up on RT for ANY movie.

Depends on who you read. Devin raved about RS/Hugo. THR and Variety thought they didn't spend enough time on the cast... I'm watching a video review about Cap that Hugo Weaving was outstanding.

This film I believe just won't be for everyone alot of people just will look at the type of character cap is and feel he is generic because he doesn't have the type of flaws all the other superheroes have but it's what Cap stands for that makes him special. But not everyone can grasp that. But I do feel it will end up "Fresh"

I gotta admit I was a big fan of the Raimi "make the hero pay" a la spider-man 2.
But Steve Rogers can have his own private battles that are just as interesting to watch. I mean how do you keep carrying on with EVERYONE always expecting EVERYTHING out of you, and at the same time you dont become a giant prick? He's Captain America, sure, but he aint Superman either, his physical limits are pretty human.
