BAM!

Or Iron Man: The Second Avenger! Thor: The Third Avenger! & Hulk: The guy who turns up for the team part time, also generally destroys buildings and fights with teammates and goes off for years without anyone hearing from him...Avenger!Would it have helped people if they called all of these The Avengers: Captain America .... The Avengers: Thor ...... I mean cmon .... they keep acting like they're surprised .......
The whole goal was for the team up. They act like the movies get choked out because of it and end up like Green Lantern quality.
Did you check the link that I replied with? Like I said in reference to it.. not many comic films have made big bucks (rather than merely turning a small profit) without being highly rated or following a previous film that was highly rated. Strong ratings don't equal box office but it has proven very difficult for comic films in particular to get in the upper echelons without it.The general public hardly differentiates the two really. Fantastic Four did well enough to get a sequel, Batman Forever had an [atrocious] follow-up. I don't want Cap to be that bad, but the notion that the RT score has to be a certain place for this to be profitable is, well, completely ridiculous and without merit. The only guys slavishly watching RT is people like us, the general public decides to see movies like this.
"Hey Joe, did you see the new Cap movie"
"Yeah"
"Any good"
"Yeah I liked it"
"Oh cool! Maybe I'll go see it".
Does Rotten Tomatoes use everyones reviews, are they selective, or does one have to become a member for them to use it? Sorry about all the questions, but I just am not sure how it works, other then the fact that they seem way behind on what is really happening.
Surfer
But Evans brings a lack of cynicism to his genuine do-gooder. He is not naive about what fighting overseas would entail, but merely believes that he should not be forced to stay home while his fellow countrymen go off to die in an unquestionably righteous conflict. What is refreshing about Rogers is that he starts the film as a man of kindness and morality and remains a genuinely good and decent human being throughout the entire picture. In an age where our big screen heroes are tormented and guilt-ridden souls or arrogant, narcissistic jerks in need of intervention, in a world where even Superman is plagued by demons, it is refreshing to see a big-budget superhero film where the main hero is actually a genuine role model and an honest-to-goodness hero on the inside and out.
MS doesn't make bad movies....period. No real suprise this film's stint in the rotten ranks was very short lived.

I know this isn't a Green Lantern thread but I'm ecstatic it didn't fall to those levels.
