lol it's like they take long becuase they are searching for all the bad reviews lmao! I don't even care anymore look at all the glowing reviews on the front page! most of those will be there eventually :D

They'll keep doing this till they break even then add another couple positive :p

Not all the positive reviews are RT reviewers. So, they need to be turned into RT before they can post them.

The first post in this thread gives you a more accurate look at what people's opinions are than the RT score.

They've got a large chunk of the negatives out the way now so there's a good chance of finishing above 60%.

It's only 56%on RT cause of top critics right?,When I checked it said 60%Fresh with all critics!

It's interesting how the Hollywood Reporter review is scored as a 70/100 over at Metacritic, but RT counts it as Rotten.

The superherohype review is the first postiive that didn't like the romance! interesting.

at least Evans casting and take on Cap is almost universally positive. I think that means good things for The Avengers and any possible (knock on wood) Cap sequels.

Yeah, but unfortunately the average person is seeing the Rotten Tomatoes score and not this thread and it could possibly effecting their descision to see the movie. I don't think Rotten Tomatoes will effect anyones descision here to not see it. I think most of us are excited about it, but we also want to see the movie do well with the general public.

I understand that, but there are some bigger names that I would think would be posted by now like UGO, EW, and G4TV to name a few.

Just pushed up to 58%. I can see it staying in the 60s, which means that it has mixed reviews (Kinda like Watchmen).

Anyone that would make a decision with only 18 reviews counted, seeing there will be over 200 when it's all said and done, is making a huge mistake.

That said, I am concerned, but I'm hoping it can at least get a 60% certified fresh rating.

The good news is the average review score is 7.2/10. Hopefully that will hold at no lower than 6.5/10.

I don't know about that. I'm pretty positive that if I ask 30 of my friends "so what do you think about the captain America score on rottentomatoes ?" I'll get 28 "what is rottentomatoes ?"

It is odd that the RT % is 58, but the average is 7.2. That says something about the positive vs negative reviews. The negative reviews seem to say it is average or just bad, but some of the positives are very glowing reviews. Doesn't seem like anyone is giving it a 1 or anything.

Is RottenTomatoes a popular website? Sure. But I think if you polled movie-goers that are considering to go and see Captain America, you would find hardly anybody would state RottenTomatoes was their deciding factor.
