it needs to be 60% or over and have a certain number of reviews to be certified fresh.
No, Horrible Bosses is Certified Fresh with 70%.
What obligation does Warner Bros have to promote another studio's movie? If Cap fails because it didn't have a trailer in front of Harry Potter (although my screening did) and Rotten Tomatoes, then that's Paramount's fault. Acting as if this is some kind of conspiracy by Warner Bros to undermine Captain America's success is just ridiculous and makes you come off as paranoid. I suppose WB was also responsible for Paramount starting its marketing campaign so late?
Wow It's a metaphor for both their movies . Thor Started off powerful (95%) then was banish to earth and Odin took away his powers (77%)
Cap starts off like a skinny guy (33%) Then when he receives the Serum he grows (73%)
Harry's review is kinda ridiculous but it's got me very excited at the same time. I've never understood that mans approach(especially when he got into his gripes section) but for the first time I was fully digging what he was selling.
A rotten review asks a fresh one:
-"Who are you?"
-"The first of many"
2 steps forward 1 step back 72% lol
It's still at 73% for me!
weird does yours say 51 fresh? myabe it went up again and mines is just stupid.

Yeah, ours are being stupid atm, still stuck at 72% when it's really 73% rounded up.
As I refresh and it finally shows 73%. Now if I could only edit my messages.
lol I'm still at 72%
Yeah, went back down for me 2 even though the review count hasn't changed.
now 20 rotten so maybe my comp had a psychic moment? that's why it said 72% lol
Anywho already dressed to go catch the midnight showing and decide for myself!

Bound to change soon enough.
the TMT review is negative, kinda surprising seeing as that site has been really pushing it.
just noticed the reviewer is more of a GL dude.
So just curious, but what is RT tweeting now about Cap? They were pretty anxious to spread bad word of mouth.
I read some of these reviews; I honestly didn't get most of the negative points. Totally didn't come across while I was watching the film.
I'm confused why people can praise a poor movie like Thor so much and give Captain America so much crap. Ridiculous.
Toronto Star review
I'm surprised the tomatometer with the top critics is higher than the main tomato percentage.
Surprise surprise, they've tweeted nothing since Cap's been fresh. But they have addressed the whole WB 'conspiracy thing'.
On the article on CBM: "That piece is so far from the truth it's actually pretty funny."
And again: "It's not a WB order to screw with Cap; we're just trolling conspiracy nuts. Umad?"
i stans corrected...this is one of the great attributes of being mature. we accept our faults. For the first time i stand corrected about RT. I still have a huge fear about how i may feel after midnight showing since it has been compared to Thor by many or slightly better and to me that is far from a good thing as Thor is MEDIOCRE as hell. I personally am not a fan of comic book movies that are not above 80% ive realised. I tried to like Thor, but yeesh it was too campy for me and i pray Cap Am isnt that way too. based on the clips im not impressed at all, but lets see.
Like why would those guys with the flame throwers just surround him with fire instead of straight up roast him head on. he couldnt have survived that so i dont get it in movies sometimes how they give up logic for a cool angle or what not. anyway...we'll see. ill be honest about my feelings on it after a viewing
