I know, I know, it's not your favorite show. In fact, it might not even be on your radar? But it gets solid ratings, and despite being wary of procedurals, I've really gotten into this show over the past year...

Well, who else watches? And what about last night's Season 3 premiere?!? :wow:

Sooooo, that many people watching Criminal Minds, eh?

**Token replies come in from people watching Bionic Woman during the same time period**

I catch most of the shows....it's good (better than the clones of the original CSI in my opinion). I'm ticked off at Mandy Pantikin though. He's a good actor, but damn childish.

I'm particularily pleased with the guy from Dharma and Greg....this is such a turn around from the Greg role.

I am glad Mandy is at least sticking around long enough for his character to finish.

Yeah, Patankin's throwing a great opportunity away here.....has thrown.

But I agree about Thomas Gibson. I've been pleasantly surprised by his stoic take on the team's leader.

Looks like the actors weren't the only ones scorned by Patankin! :wow: The writers look like their going to take it to him big-time.....nothing worse than taking the cowards' way out.

The show is great. I was surprised at Thomas Gibson and Padget Brewster. Brewster has come a long way since "Andy Richter Controls The Universe"

I think he was forced to...walking out on a contract can cause lots of trouble. He's done it before....I don't see why any TV series would hire him.

He probably won't be hired again after this. I hope they do kill him off.

I love this show, but I always tend to forget it's on and end up just waiting for the season sets. Season 2 is out this Tuesday (Oct 2) I think. Regardless, I'll be checking into this thread if it sticks around :)

Why was he being childish? He didn't want to move to L.A. because that's where they filmed. He lives in ew York andwanted to be with his family from what I read.. I thought his decision was admirable.

^ Blah. He had a good thing going, and doesn't work year-round. Plus, how long's a show like that going to be on vs. NEVER-HAVING-TO-WORK-HARD-AGAIN because you make like $50,000 an episode???

:whatever:

Not only has CM become my favorite "crime drama", but it's easily surviving Patankin's absense AND it's pulled way ahead as the #1 show on Wednesday nights, opposite Private Practice & Bionic Woman.

Joe Mantegna joins the cast next week!

Cannot wait for that.

:)

Jeeze, I watched this week's ep last night about the little girl missing in the mall....my heart was racing the ENTIRE episode! :wow:

The writers on this show are doing a tremendous job. I haven't seen a crime drama this suspenseful since NYPD Blue.
