That's 'cuz it's not a figure, it's a statue. Looks nice, 'cept according to the 360 view on DC Direct's site, they didn't bother to put the yellow S on the cape - which the actual suit had, and which for a price tag of $200 is something they should really consider fixing between now and May.

    Dang you guys.

I thought I had overcome my habit.

I had broken the addiction and become an "adult"...

Now all I want to do is go prowl through Targets and try and find myself these Aquaman figures to complete my collection...

I know it's been months but DCU wave three is IMPOSSIBLE to find here. None of the 3 targets in Atlanta I went to, nor the ones I've been to here in South Carolina have had any of them on the pegs, much less the Aquaman and Black Manta ones I need...

On a lighter note, wave 7 is finally giving us the Blue and the Gold, so I'm a happy man.

Plus of course the sweet "Underwater Camo Aquaman"

I just picked up the dc direct all star superman fig. It's pretty sweet, and looks a lot better than in the picture on dc direct's web site. It is a bit small however (closer to the size of my marvel legends, a tad smaller than my other dc direct figs).

Has anyone seen any of the 12" Giants of Justice figures? Particularly the Superman one and where I could possibly get it? And what is the best news site to use to find out release dates and other stuff. I can't seem to find when the 2 packs are going to be released.

Having given up on Mattel ever getting new waves of DC Universe Classics over to the UK, I just ended up biting the bullet and ordering the toys I wanted from the wave off of eBay. I got Green Lantern, Deathstroke, Robin, Nightwing and the BAF Solomon Grundy (who is HUGE!) from Wave 3. So I'm now caught up with the DCUC toys I want in my collection, until the wave featuring Captain Cold and The Flash is released...

I got tired of looking for my toys in retail, too, and finally just ordered the modern variant of Aquaman. We'll see if I can find a loose right leg for my Gorilla Grodd BAF, or if I have to buy Firestorm too.

I've seen the Superman at Amazon.com. Expect to pay a little more than retail. They also have A Toys R' Us exclusive black and grey Batman for about 47-49 bucks, and another Batman variant.

Either the DCUC one, or the old DC Direct figure from the "Green Lantern" line.

I still love the Old GL line Hal.. but the new one from DCUC has more posing options so I would go with that one.

    Likewise.
Personally, I'm just going to search eBay for Metallo and skip getting all of the other figures.

The original hal from the green lantern line looks like the best one, I'm just wondering if dc direct will come out with a better one, or one based on ivan reis art. Thanks guys.

    Forgive the blurriness...

BATMAN: Merry Christmas, Hal. Here's my gift for you. A meticulously-crafted replica of a World War II fighter plane, cast in bronze.

GREEN LANTERN: Wow, thank you Bruce, I...

BATMAN: No, Hal, it's me who should be thanking you. Ever since your return, you've proven to be a valuable ally, and a trusted friend. I am sorry I ever doubted you. I'm glad you're back, old friend.

It's from the Superman/Batman line. Good figure, but yes, rather bulky.

I was looking at that figure but something about it strikes me as odd. I was reading in the dc direct message board and someone said that shane davis was supposed to make a hal figure. I'm just wondering if thats true because I don't know where u would find this info out.

I know the post you're speaking of. It was just the poster saying he'd like to see a Shane Davis Hal figure.

If you're still looking for a good Hal Jordan figure, I would recommend the Ethan Van Sciver Hal Jordan figure from the Superman/Batman wave. As you can see, he's a little too tall and bulky to match up with your Mattel figures, but he compliments the DC Direct Sinestro figure from the Green Lantern line (who towers over the Hal figure from that same line) very well. I have the two of them displayed together.

The Mattel Green Lantern is great too, I also have that in my collection. More articulation. But there is less detail, more cartoonish in appearance, and it's the classic costume rather than the modern one. Also, the suit on the Mattel figure is designed to look like fabric, while the sculpting on the DCD Hal actually makes the costume look like the energy construct it is in the comics.

From where did you aquire the DCUC Hal Jordan, Keyser?

I have yet to find a British purveyor of any Mattel/DC product.

I got it off of eBay. If you wish, I could direct you to a good eBay seller who, last time I checked, still had a DCUC Hal Jordan in stock.

However, just last week (long after I'd bought my DCUC figures), my local Forbidden Planet here in Glasgow got in a full stock of both Wave 3 and Wave 4 of DC Universe Classics. So you might prefer to wait a little longer and see if they arrive on your side of the border too.

I'm just thinking that with blackest night coming out next year that they might make another one that will be better and without the hole in the chest. I'm also hoping that a good flash figure comes out. I want to stick with DC direct and I'm not too concerned with articulation. I already have a Batman, Superman, and Wonder woman figure that I like. I just want to add those 2 characters for my own semi-justice league line.

I really, really want a DCUC Bronze Age Robin, and a new Joker sculpt. A Ra's/Talia/Ubu set based on Neal Adams' art would also be amazing.
