Agreed. DDL has stated in interviews he doesn't do blockbuster films. As for Diane Lane, I like it.

Henry Cavill, Diane Lane...possibly Olivia Wilde and Viggo Mortensen. that's more hotness than all the Superman films combined...

Diane Lane (heh cool last name) and costner's ages are fine. They can play it as they are with no make-up. The kents don't necessarily have to be old, and they WILL be almost ten years older by the third movie.
