Great casting choice, although I am still hoping for a more classic direction with the Kents. I do like them a bit younger, however, so these choices fit.

The actually de-aged them in the Silver Age for a while-pretty silly how they did it, but they didn't do total reboots in those days-they worked with previous stories for the most part.

Glad Snyder was on the same wave length because casting Diane Lane as Martha Kent opposite Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent (potentially) is fantastic casting!

I love this casting. I also hope the younger age bracket means we don't need to worry about Pa Kent dying this go-round. I'm surprised we haven't gotten confirmation on Costner yet. He and Lane are a perfect match, imo.

Young,hot, and a great actress...This puts a whole new insight on how this movie is gonna go compared to previous incarnations. I'm liking this move.
