Gambit is definetly the most awaited character for X4, but the next one is, for sure, the always polemic Emma Frost.​

She was planned for X3 when Bryan was on board, in fact, he had Sigourney Weaver in mind, but we all know how that ended. So now that most of the known x-men has been introduced already, Gambit and she are the characters with most possibilities to be in the next sequel.​

So it was time she had her own thread.​

What kind of role do you want she to have?, How would you love to be her introduction?, any scene idea?, Do you have an ideal actress already?...​

I think she should remain a villain throughout the next trilogy. They're already going to have to take the "dubious ally seeking redemption" route with Gambit so having Emma reform as well would be redundant.

Though knowing Marvel, they'd cut Gambit for that reason instead.

I know one thing, while I respect Singer and what he did for the first 2 films, I hate Weaver for the role. It's not even about her being "mature"...I didn't even find her sexy in her prime. I realize "sexy" is subjective, but Emma's type of sexy isn't supposed to be subjective.

I prefer the retconned version of Emma that's appearing in the comics today, so if they do cast Emma, I'd want someone in the same age range as the rest of the X-Men and not someone closer in age to Prof. X.

I'm agreed. I think Weaver would have done a good performance, but I preffer someone younger and sexier.

And I said it on the whedon poll, as a curiosity, Josh Whedon said in a interview to Wizard (don't find it, don't know why) that the perfect actress to play Emma would be Charlize Theron, because is a good actress and has that "I'm too much pretty to be in this room" sense. (Don't know if that was the exact words, I read it in a spanish comic)

Is curious, she is one of the favourites for the role, here in the boards, and Whedon, the creator of Astonishing, with Emma on it, would want Charlize for the role, like so many x-fans... interesting.

Weaver's Frost would have been responsible for Jean's transformation into Dark Phoenix in Singer's X3. I think Weaver would have been perfect for the role.

Wasn't Singer suppose to write a comic or graphic novel based off of his treatment for X3? I remember reading something about that after he left X3.

Yeah, he was supposed to write Ultimate X-Men for a limited run, but then all talks about that appeared to stop. Not sure what happened with that. It would have been nice to hear what his treatment for X3 was like.

I don't like her look at all, I haven't seen her acting, she can be good, but in terms of look don't see Emma at all, in my case.

Weaver was already looking a little too rough around the edges by the time she was even considered for the role. I can't speicifically point out anyone I like for the part right now, but Im glad that Signourney never got a shot at the part.

Emma Frost... She seems like such a pointless character anymore, especially with Cyclops dead.

I'm not too fond of most of the fresh-faced suggestions. Aside from their breasts, nothing about them sticks out. None of them look like they have the stage presence that Emma Frost requires... After watching Hard Candy, I think Ellen Page might be capable of producing a more intimidating performance.

If they do hire some sex bomb to play Emma Frost, the character had better be well-written. Especially, if the likes of Ian McKellen or Patrick Stewart return. Otherwise, someone like Stewart's Xavier will role right over her.

I've read many forums and there are 2 girls that caught my eyes and it's Elisha Cuthbert(24 & Girl Next Door) and Diane Kruger(Troy). They would be a perfect pair for Cyclops(James Marsden). :heart:

Xavier phones ahead to say he's sending over a friend from his past, a telepath to run the X-mansion while he's recovering. Storm is angry at this, as he promised her that she would run things in his absence (scene from X3)Wolverine is seen walking towards the front door, he then opens it to reveal no one there. the camera pans to show an black limo outside. Emma Frost steps out and struts to the doorway.

Wolverine grunts knowing she used her powers on him to open the door.

The X-Students crowd round the entrance way to see this beautiful woman.
The rest of the X-men appear and finally Storm last, who is still not pleased.

Nice idea, insane, for her introduction. Like how she talk to Logan, haha, would like to see something like that in X4.

But I'd preffer Emma starting as a villian.

Have you ever seen Nip/Tuck? Have you ever seen Kelly Carlson in it?

Katherine Hiegl has won me over, she must play Emma Frost.

She hasn't won me over but it's a good suggestion.

I had never thought of her as Emma, but seeing those pics reminded me Charlize Theron a bit, so yes, if Theron don't end with the role, I'd see her. Doesn't have a "bad feeling" in her face (like Emma could have), but she is an actress, no? so...

I haven't watch any of Katherine's movie. She is pretty but she looks too innocent to be Emma.
