If you ever take the time to visit the Fox News website, www.foxnews.com whether it be because you actualy buy their poor attempts at investigative reporting or because you'd just like a good, quick laugh, you can't help but notice their undying loyalty to the Bush administration (Yes, I know this is old news). I thought I would mention a particular waste of webspace they decided was important today. Without so much as a mention of the massacre in Haiti (which a fellow poster brought to my attention on these boards today), Fox News has decided that one of the biggest stories is an anti-Chavez march in Venezuela. A march of a mere 300 people; http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,203836,00.html

I've decided to create this thread to act as a hub for any information or discussion relating to Fox News, or any ridiculous news network for that matter. Enjoy.

Bashing Fox isn't so much shooting fish in a barrel as it is nuking a manatee in a paint can.

I like to get my news from the most trusted realiable news group Cnn

Yet another Fox News sucks, Bush sucks, Conservatives Sucks, Yo Mamma Sucks thread?

Fox News sucks. Don't remember saying a damn thing about the others. You might want to retune your "jump to conclusions mat".

Why has a 16 year old formed an opinion on politics?

Christ, go out and spray paint some graffiti or something.

And may I come with?

Yes, Conservatives does suck, whoever this "Conservatives" fellow is.

youre a liberal and you dont like the way they report the news boo hoo cry more.

the fact of the matter is, Fox News has a good record when it comes to reporting. You dont see them making forged memos like CBS, or putting words in the mouths of the people they interview like the BBC. you dont see them holding on to stories for months, even years, just so they can release it when an election is about to happen

I wasn't under the impression that they reported the news at all. And yeah, everyone knows about Fox's great record, and that they poop gold bricks and that their earwax tastes like strawberries and that O'Reilley's farts sound like Mozart's Fifth.

I understand that, its just that this thread will become a bash Bush, bash Fox News, bash Conservatives thread.

My opinion about politics is changing and has changed a lot in a year, however the political bashing that goes on on this message board gets....tiring after a while.

Other than the "60 Minutes" documents screw-up, what has CBS done to give it a bad reporting record?

Then does it bother you that Fred Fury started off his post like this:

youre a liberal and you dont like the way they report the news boo hoo cry more.

?

Alright then, good times.

Fred Fury and celldog represent the worst conservatives have to offer.

I have seen that in the past few days (celldog more than Fury), sadly I use to be oh so similar to them :(

But you know what, Stormin? You acknowledge that, and openly regret it. That much sets you apart.

Why shouldn't a 16 year old take an interest in politics? In two years he'll be helping to make the decisions of how the country is run. I'd prefer voters to at least have a little knowledge of what and who they are voting for rather than check the little box blindly. I think it's good for someone that young to have a burgeoning interest in the political system; if more people around his age developed that interest than we wouldn't have such pathetic and apathetic turn out among the 18-27 age group.

I have no real problem with 16 year olds having views and an understanding of geopolitics. However taking a specific Conservative or Liberal position at this age tends to be a choice defined more by how we were raised or just wanting to have a viewpoint, however random and uneducated it might be.

Yes, chances are when you start taking an interest in politics its influenced by family views, but everyone has to start somewhere. As I've gotten older alot of my stance has gone towards the middle from the far right I was once in. I'm still much more conservative than most, but because I developed a sense of political responsibility at a young age, I take into account all sides of an argument.

I'm only speaking from experience, as a 16 year old Communist.
