That'd be nice, but haven't heard about the masters and where they could be. I wonder if they are sitting in a filing cabinet or some such.

I've heard that the 16mm masters still exist, but they display the infamous errors/mistakes (which can be digitally fixed anyway). SHOUT! previously worked on them in an analogue way.

my Optimus Prime from the 1986 animated movie I got a few weeks ago, he is awesome he looks like he stepped right out of the film and still turns into a truck and comes with his trailer.
