Ah be quiet DorkeyFresh, Chatwin is dedicated to the role & he'll be fine. I just think you expect him to look like a bodybuilder when in fact you haven't even seen any recent pics of him to say he's too small.

that's IF the sequels come along. also....if he hardly put on any muscle for this movie i doubt he'll put on much more muscle for the sequels. usually, the case is that the star whips into great shape for the first movie and has a less impressive physique in the sequels (Maguire as Spider-Man, Bale as Batman). if commited actors like Bale and Maguire are too lazy to get their previous physiques back then what makes you think that Chatwin will be able to pack on significant muscle for potential sequels when he doesn't even have a good base to start off?

What? Bale is still in great shape. He's lost a little bit of muscle but he was really buff & it doesn't matter if he loses a tad bit of that. He's still in great shape anyway.

Christian Bale is anything but lazy when it comes to his roles. He's one of the most commited actors I've seen. Watch The Machinist, and you'll see he starved himself into a skeleton, and then pumped the iron to muscle himself up substantially for Batman.

plus the reason bale is smaller is because well...he is bale. he lost extreme weight for mechanist and again for rescue dawn. i am 100% sure that Nolan told him that he should take it slow now and be healthy. maguire had some back problems when shooting spiderman 2. for 3............wel i dont like spiderman 3.

not really. once again, you're comparing top actors like Bale and Jackman to a novice like Chatwin. just because the committed actors are willing to transform their bodies to the extreme doesn't mean a novice like Chatwin has the same will power.

well....like Joker_1000, you also thought wrong because you're obviously not getting it. you can compare them all you want.....just like i compared them. however, for some odd reason you seem to think i posted a comparison then turned around and said that you can't compare but if you read my post carefully then you'll see no such thing. i was simply saying that even though Jackman bulked up significantly more for X2 than X1 that the comparison is still the same. we're still comparing undeniably talented and committed actors to a novice/amateur actor. i was just saying the same thing, about the Jackman comparison, that i was about my Bale/Maguire comparison....that just because these grade-A actors are committed enough to transform their bodies for their movies doesn't necessarily mean that a novice like Chatwin will be willing to also.

more spin!!! hehe...even though i said i doubt Chatwin will bulk up significantly more for the sequels i never flat out said that he WILL NOT. however, most of the time, novice actors don't have the commitment and/or dedication that experienced actors do. that's how you can ascertain how Chatwin MIGHT handle the sequels by looking at the behavior of Bale, Maguire, and Jackman. taking into account that it looks like Chatwin barely put on any muscle for THIS movie, i simply posed the question...what makes anyone think that Chatwin will put on a significant amount of muscle for the sequels if even some the most committed actors (Bale and Maguire) didn't get their original builds back for their respected sequels?

NEVER have you adequately answered to Goku being rather slender (LIKE Chatwin) in Dragonball. The only defense you have is "oh he looks like a skateboarder!!" That's petty. Is that all you have?
