Toei didn't make every saga as the sagas were made by Akira Toriyama. Goku, however, did save the day in most of the movies.

I want to get the Superman: Doomsday DVD. There's some pretty good fighting in that movie. However, I will say that my all time favorite superhero is Batman & then Superman. There's just so much more that can be done with Batman than Superman.

Not really. Every character has the same level of potential. Its the writer's ability to do it properly.

I'm saying that there's more you can do with him because of the fact that he's a human whereas with Superman you can easily ruin a storyline by making him too powerful.

I can see what you mean, but really, it isn't a definent factor. It's the writer's job to make good stories where the hero is challenged. If he/she can't do it, it isn't the character, its them. Of course, it is the writers fault for making the hero too powerful. Superman was powered down a lot, and so was Goku. I mean, in GT they made him a kid.

Anyway, before we stray to comics...back to Goku...lol

I don't make assumptions on casting choices til I have seen them act in the movie. Casting directors know what they are doing, that's their job. So, though I think a bigger actor should have been cast, I'm not casting an opinion til I see how Chatwin does.

He's not really too much like Batman & the only incarnation I liked of Daredevil was the one we got in TAS. I read a comic with him & it was okay although it was also confusing. He's okay but in the movie they ruined him completely. Ben Affleck.....man, **** that guy.

I think Chatwin is definitely an up-and-coming actor. I wouldn't be surprised if he one day has the star-profile of the likes of Jake Gyllenhaal or Ryan Gosling.

Yeah, it's usually a good idea to go with nearly unknown actors for movies like this. I'm really looking forward to this movie.

No clue. If you look at Goku in Dragon Ball, he really isn't huge, so I am hoping it is muscular medium lookin. Enough to be more than just toned.

Yep, that's what I've been saying this whole time. Goku isn't huge so Chatwin doesn't need to be huge. However, I think after he gets to a certain point he needs to stay at that level & just increase his size a little or get more toned for each movie.

How do you think they should handle the Ascended Super Saiyan & Ultra Super Saiyan forms? I think that the Ascended Super Saiyan form could be pulled off using an already buff actor & a muscle suit but the Ultra Super Saiyan form would definitely need to be CGI.

Well, if they go in a certain direction, they don't need to make him be that big in Super Saiyan forms. I do think that the hair and such should be CGI. Anything else will look ******ed. s

The hair needs to be CGI in just about every CGI form but the first SSJ form could definitely be pulled off using dye & all that. Also, if they do decide to make any of the Saiyans that big, they could go the route of Van Helsing which is make the body CGI & use the real actor's head.
