The Official Goku/Justin Chatwin Thread

Yeah, it gave me a giggle or two.

Anyone else agree that we need a Goku smilie?

Someone should put a Q & A up... I still don't know if this is going to be motion cap or live action... I was never a big fan of Dargon Ball Z... so next time just answer the question and don't take it sarcastically... this is like the second time I have came to these boards...

There ya go.

this movie is gonna suck so bad. theres no way you can bring dragonball to the big screen in live action. aint happening

it is but it shouldnt be. dragonball is fine the way it is it doesnt need a movie. its doomed already :o
Well, that's your opinion, and we respect that. But when you start stating stuff like its a fact and it isn't, thats when people start to get angry. So I'd highly suggest you NOT do that.

Honestly, I really doubt this movie is 'doomed'.

There is quite a large fan base. They'll have to REALLY screw it up before it is doomed.

Congrats of post 6000 Star.

And yes, we don't appreciate being patronized around here. Nobody does.

Agreed, especially since this is the first (at least to my knowledge) big budget, live action, Hollywood movie based on an anime series. So, it won't just draw DB fans but fans from across the board in a show of support (and in hopes that their own favorite series would then be greenlit), similar to how the '80s Saturday morning' fans showed up to support Transformers.

I never thought of it that way. Interesting.

Did they? Cause the crowd I saw go were first timers who thought it looked cool and direhard TF fans.

EDIT I'm not trying to be obnoxious. I'm just askin.

In response to something said earlier, this movie is not doomed. They've delayed the production of the movie so I'm sure they'll be working on the movie a lot more to make the final product is as good as can be.

from what im seeing in the cast list and plot, they've already done that. :whatever:

in response to everything else said, i am just simply stating how i feel about this movie. i've been a fan for years, and i will no doubt see the movie, but i dont feel that a live action film is necessary, and from what info i've seen on this film already i just dont think it will be very good
