Got a chance to check out the pilot at PaleyFest this weekend, and just wanted to share my thoughts.

Really felt stronger than I expected it to be. Fish Mooney was my favorite character.

It looks like Cobblepot is going to be a show stealer, love what they are doing with him, Penguin Begins! I hope the series lasts long enough for him to get to the point where he has his own crew and the Iceberg Lounge.

Thanks for the find.

Most of what I've seen from critics have been "meh" about Gotham's pilot episode, but they do see potential (never bet against anything involving Bruce Wayne).

I like the look of it. I'm happy about the premise of it, but I've heard the pilot is overwrought with characters viewers may or may not care about.

Monday nights are not going to be an easy recipe for success, but I hope to heck this series gets critical traction by episode 3.
