Who thinks somehow Selina will be welcomed into the manor by Alfred and Bruce because of the child trafficking thing and she attempts to steal Martha's necklace?:funny:

Renee Montoya will be a Lesbian on 'Gotham'
In a move that does not shy away from its brave comic roots, FOX’s Gotham will feature a lesbian detective as one of its lead roles. Detective Renee Montoya is in canon as being gay in Batman comics, a former lover of Katherine Kane, AKA Batwoman. Victoria Cartagena plays the first live-action LGBT character in the prime-time superhero universe and recently talked to Advocate about the importance of the role.

I read she dated Gordon's fiancée.

Nyssa Al Ghul don't count as the first lesbian in a superhero show.?

Well, the article did state "prime-time". Do we consider the CW to be in that category?

I think this show has an advantage over AOS in that it isn't part of a larger tapestry of projects that tie in together, and thus doesn't have to wait until the release of a big budget film to start telling worthwhile stories.

People raving about AOS last year at SDCC and stuff still has me scratching my head, to be honest. I lost my interest in the pilot halfway through.

Gotham: First Details About Episode 3
Posted by: Craig Byrne

The first spoilers about Gotham’s third episode can be found in Entertainment Weekly’s Fall Preview issue, which also features a great new cast shot, so it’s worth checking out.

So what can we expect in Episode 3 of Gotham?

The episode’s villain is the “Balloon Man,” who is described as “a killer who ties his victims to hundreds of balloons and sends them aloft.”

“The crime is big and weird and eccentric and often has a lot of dark humor in it,” Ben McKenzie says to the magazine.

The Entertainment Weekly Fall Preview issue is now available at newsstands and subscriber mailboxes.
