Finally caught up on all this War Of the Green Lantern horse**** and wow I can't wait for this to be over.

I loves Green Lantern Corps but I have hated all the crossover stories about the Green Lanterns and this latest story gets a from me as well

I still think it was a bad idea to split Guy, Kilowog, and Kyle between Corps and Emerald Warriors. I miss the old gang.

I dunno, I think "War of The Green Lanterns" is forcing people to question what is happening to characters. I mean will they explain why John ended up wielding the ring of compassion for example?

If they simply skip over these type of questions, then yes "War Of The Green Lanterns" ends up being a colossal waste of page space...

Just wishful thinking on my part honestly as i have not been enjoying Emerald Warriors and like Corp I miss having the characters together in one series

Though i suppose there is no reason why Guy Kyle and Kilowog can't hang out in Green Lantern Corps and appear in Emerald Warriors at the same time

If it gets John Stewart out of GLC it'll be good, him and Kyle have no interesting chemistry at all.

I hope Emerald Warriors doesn't get cancelled. It's the only GL book i can read. I'm not reading it now of course, not whilst this War of the GLs garbage is going on.

I am still confuzzled about why John Stewart is one of the 'Compassion' Lanterns

Because he picked the ring that wouldn't turn him into a greed monster or put him in a pink thong and bra. It's not because he's the avatar of Compassion. Just like Hal Jordan doesn't instill great fear in many people. It's just the ring they picked when they couldn't use theirs.

Isn't it not supposed to work that way since Rebirth, though? I thought the incident with Green Arrow and the GL ring proved that anyone can't simply pick up any ring and make it work for them, they have to have some tie to what the ring represents.

Guy has a pact with Atrocitus, and being chosen to be a Red Lantern which allows him to wield Atrocitus' ring. And Kyle actually has potential as a Blue Lantern.

John got kinda screwed here.

That strikes me as kind of dumb. "Sinestro Corps members, you were chosen to wield these rings because you have the ability to instill great fear! ... Oh, and Green Lanterns can also use them. Just because."

Mmh I think it makes quite the explanation. They used rings with a power or a emotion they could understand, not rings they are qualified to wear. It makes sense to me.
