Hal does rehash things in issue 13. I just don't know if that info came out during Kyle's run or not. Wasn't Major Force one of his enemies? He's the turd that "killed" her.

:gl: :gl: :gl:

He never died. Kyle beheaded him and tossed his head off into space, but he was still alive. So he won't be a zombie in Blackest Night, at least. But I wouldn't mind seeing him come back. He'd be a nice rival for Kyle who's not too similar to Sinestro (like Alex Nero would be).

actually I do remember....it is a retcon....Henshaw tells Hal about it during the Lost Lanterns story....but it was a smooth retcon

Yeah it needed to be retconned or just taken out completely. Originally she "aged" herself with her ring so Hal could legally boink her. So even though he knew she was really a kid...:whatever:

but she isn't.....she's like 200 in earth years or something

Yeah, but that is what I meant, 40 issues means he had his luck but he couldn't have his own serie for long. Yeah, I agree "genuine interest". As I said before I find him boring, not without potential, but unexplored potential IMO. What is so great about him ? I maintain what I said in my previous post.
40 issues is a long time. 6 issues isn't. I agree he has unexplored potential. Jonn's great in that he is a detective, his outlook on life would be different then most heroes because he's from an alien shape-shifting society, he can be more creative with his powers then most super-powered heroes, and he is the ultimate outsider.

That was a missed opportunity IMO. Major Force could have been Kyle's Sinestro.

Oh man, this issue was badass. Some of my favorites in it;

[blackout]Foreshadowing of John Stewart being a Blue Lantern?
"He [Larfleeze] contains a power as threatening as Parallax"
Orange lanterns absorbing constructs, even those created by guardians, as well as magicks from Torquemada.
"Consumption complete. Identity Stolen. Replicating. Gretti of Sector 2828. You belong to Agent Orange"
"A Blue Ring? Where did you get a Blue Ring? I want one."
The last page of the proper looks scary as hell.[/blackout]

It also contains a backup story, the origin of one of the Orange Lanterns, and we find out who Blume is (the central character in the Orange Lantern story from the Tales of the Corps mini), and if this story is any indication, then it's going to be just an origin story.

Larfleeze has officially become my new favorite comic character, ever.

Got to give it to Johns (:wow:) the Orange Lanterns are a really cool and exciting move.

sweet, so i made the move today to jump onto GLC. i ordered the ring quest TPB and bought GLC 27-35. the new green lantern book today was good, but tan's art is spotty. give me my reis back!

Welcome! GLC is pretty fackin awesome. I'd go back and get the very last issue though, some set-up info and some badassedness from Atrocitus

Today's issue was fun but it was also kinda bleh.

I loved the issue as well. I could name everything you've already named, since I loved the same things. especially, especially the last page !
I was not a big fan of the art of the second story about the member of the Orange Corps, it was cartoony and goofy, I thought it was not very good for a story that dark. Why not ask D.Gibbons again (like he did) with the sinestro Corps stories) ?
I think the art of P.Tan is good, and I have the feeling he is doing his best but seriously, the art is often confusing.
It seems the Orange lanterns are quite good but I think [BLACKOUT]if no one can touch them, then the main origin of the light has to be turned of. So turn of Larfleeze and see what happens.[/BLACKOUT]
I was glad to see Hal take part of the story more than he usually does (because usually I have the feeling he is just a tool in the script). From the crash landing to the face to face with Larfleeze, and my favorite moment : [BLACKOUT]"ok, ok World peace, I hope for world peace." "-Unsincerity present in the voice. Won't do."[/BLACKOUT]
For now Agent Orange, I prefer agent Orange to Rage of the Red Lantern.

Ha, you catch feelings so fast :p

Johns isn't handling them properly. A rabid corps should be pretty easy to write(a bunch of Wolverines, even I could write that well). They need a purpose, other than being lapdogs for Atrocitus; who's only care in the world is harming Hal and Sinestro.
