So I'm guessing that this is wear the whole Bruce Banner and Black Widow potential romance rumor started from:

He actually did something like that during Ultimates 2.That's more of a Wolvie & Colossus thing, though it would be kind of neat to see Hulk hurl the shield at something.

Wait, are they going to totally trample on the somewhat stable relationship between Tony & Pepper for the sake of an abortive love triangle in the movie? Why not have that role go to Hawkeye, who was the Widow's lover when the two first appeared in the comics?
Apart from that, I do like the idea of Tony trying to goad Bruce into hulking out just for ****s and giggles. That seems like the sort of thing that the MCU Tony Stark would get off on.
I'm wondering on what kind of physical obstacles/threats that they'll have against Hulk int his film?
I mean, given that both Hulk and Thor for that matter have been proven to be the powerhouses of the team, along with how strong Hulk has especially proven himself to be, I wonder what Loki's army would bring to the table that would force someone like Hulk to need help since truth be told, I don't think we've seen Hulk pushed to his limits yet.
True. To challenge the big guy it gotta be a hell of a threat.
I agree. The SDCC poster made the Hulk look rather apelike and brutish. He looks better with more human features that mirror those of the actor playing him. It's easier to relate to a "human" Hulk and not see him as just a mindless monster with rage issues.
Yeah, Thor pretty much shrugged off anything that was thrown at him too.
t:Indeed; I mean as far as I can recollect, Thor and Hulk were like the only two Avengers who weren't physically pushed to their limits by their villains in their respective films, and both were shown capable of defeating large armies on their own.
Actually, Hulk got his ass kicked pretty good by Abomination, before he got mad.

the emphasis of highlighting strength across the entire marvel film universe has been somewhat dumbed down.
entire feats of strength include
rolling a table over
ripping a car in half
punching a punchbag off its chain
kicking a car away
catching a car
kicking a man into a tree (a kick that could have killed him)
throwing a guy from underwater up a story onto land
considering the greatest feat of strength we've seen in a superhero movie in recent years is supes carrying a city sized piece of kryptonite and flinging it into space, this is pretty miniscule.
if you consider the greatest feat ever shown with superman pushing the moon, it puts the acts of marvel's mightiest into a serious shadow cloud.
even so, i think strength scales will be kept very grounded in the avengers and we won't see anything that makes us think 'OOOOH WOW' strengthwise.
I'm not really troubled by the demonstrated feats of strength in these Movies. I actually don't mind that it isn't too ridiculous. I still enjoyed the action. The last thing I want to see is Hulk leaping into orbit and crushing an asteroid the size of the earth with his fist.

Basically keep them grounded enough for this flick that it's believable. Don't do all that planet shattering **** that some writers have done.
