i lost my fitbit last night at work. pretty darn pissed about that. so darn expensive

^A fan of IIFYM are ya?
Dear Christ that is comprehensive. I still don't know how you havent had a wierd poop but i guess everyone is different. I usually have 3-4 shakes a day that may also be a factor as well.
LOL! Well, I wanted to be sure that you knew that I have been at this a long time and havent had any "weird" experience (although I am still not sure what you mean by weird or different in regards to poops or whatever).
I think I am part mutant. I have tried 3 or 4 pre workout supplements and havent felt the energy, focus, etc that everyone else claims to have. So, yeah, it seems that supplements have a different (lesser?) effect on me.
3-4 shakes a day seems excessive (generally speaking of course).
Yeah, meal timing is absolute broscience. More doctors need to get into endocrinology b/c there's too much conflicting info about metabolism coming from "dieticians" and personal trainers. IIFYM doesn't work for everybody; myself included cuz I can't eat 4 cheeseburgers everyday and not feel horrible eventually, but some people have great success w/ it.

On the subject of earphones etc, has anyone ever tried an underwater iPod? I'm wondering whether I should get one for swimming as it would make it more interesting.

Ok again I'll explain my workout routine.
Monday:1hr treadmill with weight vest. 4-5 miles and 30-50 min chest
Tuesday:1hr treadmill with weight vest. 4-5 miles 30-45 min biceps
Wed: 1hr treadmill with weight vest. 4-5 miles. 30-45 triceps
Thurs:1hr treadmill vest. 4-5 miles. 30-45 back/shoulders
Frid: 1hr treadmill w vest. 4-5 miles. 30-45 legs
Sat: Off
Sun: 2 hr walk/jog with no vest.
I'm gonna be starting on something like this in a couple months because I'm going on a dirty as all sin bulk. But, I'd recommend separate back and shoulders days and a combined bis/tris day.
Just wanted to pass along my satisfaction with a fitness related product. As most of you know, I train at a MMA gym and a lot of my cardio comes from hitting the heavy bag. Well, I have used a few different programs to follow to hit the bag on my own (at home or at the gym during the open bag workout time).
These programs call out combinations which instruct the person what to do (jab, cross, hook, roundhouse kick, etc etc etc). It definitely helps you focus on the task, forces you to keep up the intensity and takes some of the "ok, what now?" questions out of the picture once somebody buys a heavy bag to use for exercise.
The issue for me has always been how to listen to the program without bothering others and without earbuds falling out. Some ear buds dont stay in when running, let alone twisting and turning for kicks and punches.
Anyways, I stopped by Best Buy, to see if they had anything and I will admit that I am a little tech-ignorant when it comes to some of this stuff.
Well they had the Motorola S11-HD (not the flex model, just the HD) on sale for $69. I spoke to a sales rep who said that he owned this same one and it was a good one (could have been lying, but I took him at his word). This was about the most I was willing to spend, so I gave it a shot and I am very glad that I did.
I have used them 3 times for my heavy bag workout and the entire "headset" has stayed in place and played the boxing combinations for me crystal clear and plenty loud enough (using my Sony Experia Z phone). I also tested the range a little bit and at 60 feet away, they were still clear and loud. Also, they only need to be charged for 5 minutes for 1 hour of use. I have not used them for music yet, but I suspect that I will be satisfied with that as well. I see plenty of these (used) going for less on ebay and all too. Either way, if you are shopping for something similar, I recommend these.
The s11-hd "flex" version of these was priced @ $129 Monday. FYI.
thanks for posting this. i've been looking for wireless headphones reasonbly priced for a while now, i might look into these
Glad I could potentially help. Let me know what youe end up purchasing.
Monday's here, what are you guys doing? Leg day? cardio? Rest day?
Whatcha got????
A dietitian is an expert on nutrition. Years of nutritional science classes, biochemistry, public health, and required maintainance of R.D licensure afterward. Perhaps you mean do diss nutritionists, Which is a baseless title requiring very little education, no accredited university program, and no regulation of the title
Why do a combined tri/bi day when sore triceps and biceps take away from chest and back workouts? I know at least for me, tearing up my triceps on a separate day significantly hinders my chest workout.

Space your arm day about 3 days after chest and back. They should be recovered enough in 3 days.
