I checked and did not see a thread designated for merchandise for Iron Man 3, in the section for the film, or, in the Iron Man World one, either. To kickstart the discussion, I am excited that Upper Deck will be releasing a line of cards for the film, like they did for The Avengers (I enjoyed collecting the costume cards.)

    Here is the announcement:

I already pre-ordered the IM3 Legends figures, the first wave hits on Feb. 13th with 3 figures, Iron Patroit (Comic Version), Iron Man Heroic Age Armor & Iron Man Classic, all come with a BAF piece to build Iron Monger, the other 3 however are not due till fall of 2013 with no indication what figures will be in that set, but in order to complete Iron Monger will need those figures.

Tried to buy this at Walmart today and it wouldn't go through the scanner. They said it had been recalled and they couldn't sell it.

Since I've been collecting Lego sets recently, I'll definitely get the Lego collections for Iron Man 3 this year. Here are some of the sets they're planning for Lego:

[Warning: I'm not sure if the names of the sets are spoiler, so read them at your own risk]

    ■ 76006 Iron Man: Extremis Sea Port Battle

    ■ 76008 Iron Man vs. The Mandarin: Ultimate Battle

Worst part is, It didnt even have three figures in it, leading me to believe it was meant for IM3, and not IM2 as posted below. :o :funny:

I'm not sure whether to get these now at retail price, get them around the time when the films comes out when it's on sale, or wait for them to go on super Clearence because these failed to sell.

Man screw those assemblers figures. Besides still having crappy articulation, I bought Mark 42 just to put with the other armors, and one of the arms wasn't cut right from the mold, so it will not fit into the socket at all.
    Not looking great Hasbro...

Is it just me or does that figurine look more like Tony Stark than RDJ does?
