Now that it is just over a month away, I decided to finally beat Birth by Sleep, LOL! I only had to finish it with Ventus. That said, the ice cream mini game was the bane of my existence. Needlessly hard!!! I hate that you had to beat it once to open up Neverland. But I should only have Neverland and the Keyblade Graveyard left.

Kingdom Hearts III 30-second Japanese TV spot, Tetsuya Nomura comments on leaked copies
Published 2 days ago. 120 comments.

Development team working to better the situation.
KH3-TV-Spot_12-16-18.jpg

Square Enix has released a new 30-second TV spot for Kingdom Hearts III in Japan, and director Tetsuya Nomura has publicly commented on the the small portion of copies of the game that have recently begun circulating ahead of release.

Here is the message from Nomura:

We’re aware that a small portion of Kingdom Hearts III has been circulating online before its official release. We are also aware as to how this has all happened. We’re sorry to see this caused concern amongst our fans who are excited for the release.

The whole team has been working together since yesterday night (Japan time) to investigate what we can do to better this situation, but first we would like to ask that you do not share these videos.

The game’s epilogue and secret movie, which are the biggest spoilers in this game, are planned to be released at a later date just in case, so they will not be shown before the game’s release.

We want everyone to be able to equally experience the full game after its release, so we ask for your continued support on this matter.

We’re also very grateful that our fans have been warning each other already about the spoilers. Thank you very much.

We’re one month out from the release. Let’s enjoy the game together when it releases on January 29, 2019.

– Director Tetsuya Nomura

Kingdom Hearts III is due out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 25, 2019 in Japan and Asia, and January 29 in North America and Europe.

We are only a week and a half away from Kingdom Hearts III's release date, and fans of the beloved role-playing series will be able to play this long-awaited game when it finally releases on the 29th of January for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

This new entry in the Kingdom Hearts series will bring in even more Disney characters that will be joining Sora, Donald, and Goofy in their adventure: from Disney Pixar's beloved Toy Story series to Big Hero 6, and even Pirates of the Caribbean.

Today, the official Twitter account for Kingdom Hearts III has shared new artwork that sees our main hero Sora joined by Jack Sparrow — I mean, Captain Jack Sparrow — and Will Turner from the popular Pirates of the Caribbean series by Disney.

Interestingly enough, Pirates of the Caribbean is the first Disney series to join Kingdom Hearts that isn't animated, which is a nice change of pace and will definitely make for interesting visuals and scenarios in Kingdom Hearts III.

Take a look:

Yo Ho, Yo Ho! A pirate's life for me!

KINGDOM HEARTS III tells the story of the power of friendship as Sora and his friends embark on a perilous adventure. Set in a vast array of Disney and Pixar worlds, KINGDOM HEARTS follows the journey of Sora, a young boy and unknowing heir to a spectacular power.

Kingdom Hearts III will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on the 29th of January.

Three minutes of new footage.

KH3-Gameplay-PV_01-24-19.jpg

Square Enix has released a three-minute gameplay overview trailer for Kingdom Hearts III.

Here is an overview of the trailer, via Square Enix:

As the Heartless invade the universe, players must prepare Sora and his friends to protect the Disney and Pixar worlds against darkness and unlock the mysterious power of the Keyblades, which only the strong of heart can wield. For the first time in the KINGDOM HEARTS series, the Keyblades have the ability to transform into different forms with powerful new abilities and dazzling attacks inspired by the characters and elements of each world.

Players can also learn how to use elemental magic for offensive and defensive purposes, such as creating ice slides and wind vortexes to navigate through the chaos in battle. Taking the form of classic Disney rides, players can utilize the power of the Attractions, or team up with Donald, Goofy and other legendary characters from Disney and Pixar worlds to turn the tides against the darkness.

The new footage also gives fans a glimpse of the Gummi Ship and how to augment its speed, shield, firepower, and design as they journey between worlds, as well as the various other activities they will encounter along the way, including a trip down memory lane with classic Kingdom minigames inspired by 1980’s-era LCD games and iconic Disney animated shorts.

Kingdom Hearts III is due out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 25 in Japan and Asia, and January 29 in North America and Europe.
