just looking at this video brings back memories at what great television used to be. With the gameshows, all that, salute your shorts etc...

Now today's kids are being cheated with garbage such as avatar, zoey 187, etc.. etc..

all my peeps 20-31 understand the greatness of this canon I posted.
 
I am old. I am just tired of all this Nastalgia crap in society. We need to start making our own mark on society, & stop pissing, & moaning about how the past was better. This is why all these crappy remakes are coming out.

Still though. It was nice seeing all those intro.:o

Hahaha, you're joking right?

"Avatar: The Last Airbender" is a friggen masterpeice, it's one of the greatest animated series ever made!

In other words, it is NOT (nor will it EVER be) crap!

I do agree, Nick isn't the same as it was back in our time. But that's just the way it is, nothing you can do about it but simply enjoy your memories and the shows that used to be on back in the day.

I love Old Nick, but I don't hate the New Nick (except its live-action shows, I do feel that they really are crap....and the old live shows have nothing to do with it). New Nick has some good stuff too (and as I said above, it landed a masterpeice too!).

20 years old and proud of it. (Teens and adults are a LARGE part of the fanbase too, so I don't see the point in your question.)

What do you have against the show anyway?

It's one thing to not like it, that's fine by me.

But to call it "trash" or "crap" is just laughable.

The writing, acting, storylines, animation, EVERYTHING about this fantastic animated series is top-quality. The quality, effort, and love that goes into this show simply amazes me. It is the best series Nick has ever done, and I've been watching Nick for years.
 
That video brought back good memories:

1) Are You Afraid Of The Dark? - One if my favorites growing up. All hail the Midnight Society!

2) Animorphs - Great show. The actors are great for the most part. Shawn Ashmore and Brooke Nevin are still making names for themselves. Some of the others are still acting, too. I love the theme song.

3) All That - Seasons 1 through 6 - Kenan, Kel, Mark Saul, and Josh Server were my favorites. Most of the skits were great. I must admit, now that I'm older some of the skits are corny. But I'll always love Good Burger and Detective Dan. The old cast was the best. The newer cast sucked. I'm glad it was cancelled. It wasn't worthy of the title All That. It was painful seeing the Good Burger remake. Speaking of which, I still have the Good Burger movie on VHS!

4) Kenan & Kel - Great show. I loved the comedy and the magnificient Ken Foree (Peter! Peter!!!!! We got them! We got them by the balls!).



I sure wish all of these shows would be released on season sets. I'd definitley buy them. For the most part, I don't watch Nick anymore. I watch Drake & Josh as well as Danny Phantom.

I grew up watching all those shows, and I'm 20!

They were great though.

Are You Afraid of the Dark (the original...not the new series with the new cast) was excellent, I loved that show!

Animorphs was pretty good too, I remember having a crush on Tobias. The books were better, but the show did a good job if you ask me.

All That (again, the original) was loads of fun! Good Burger, the angry lunch lady, and the Repair Man-man-man! will always be favorites of mind.
Did they really remake Good Burger?!

Are you afraid of the dark was cool! But I'm going to go back farther......you can't do that on television. That was a good show.....that and Dangermouse. I miss the old Nick. :(
 
animorphs is trash it shouldnt of been in the mix.

but anyway this thread is the truth like jplaya's canon.

nick needs one of them boomerang channels where they just show the classics all day.
 
I have no idea what you mean by "GOAT" or "Canon"....

But I think Nick is working on a Rewind channel. They've recently scrapped the "Nick GaS" channel, and they're not selling the Rewind DVDs like they used to.
