I bought Crackdown a couple weeks ago, finally. It's a fun game to just mess around with. It's a more fun version of GTA for me, at least. AC should be fun as well, what with the free-roaming mix of Thief and PoP.

I'm a big fan of rooftop-to-rooftop acrobatics. There's nothing quite like leaping off a skyscraper, crossing a four-lane highway and then grabbing onto the window-ledge of another tower.

Assassin's Creed doesn't have superhero jumping, but the free-running is there at least.

I totally agree.
I love to run around town jumping from rooftop to rooftop, that´s the best part of the game, i only drive cars to get the achievements.

Cities make for amazing platforming levels. Thief new this back in 1998. Only now are the rest catching up.

Bought a 360 last April....been playing it ever since
Gears, Dead Rising, Lost Planet, Halo 2, Ninja Gaiden Black, Crackdown and Halo 3, those are the only ones i played so far (and by that order)...

PC and the 360 are my best friends

Glad to see you've joined the noble cause. And yes, platforming in a cityscape is by far much better than the cramped levels you get for platforming in most other games.

Bioware and Blizzard are, IMO, the best developers working

Of course there plenty of amazing ones, but those those are the best of the best

I'm not sure if Kane and Lynch will really release this month, but that's looking sharp as well.

Agreed. Bioware is the premier Western RPG dev, most definitely. Behind them are studios like Lionhead, Obsidian, and etc. that are also solid RPG devs.

I'm not sure about Kane and Lynch, but it has potential to be good.

I wouldn't look past Bethesda though. Sure they've done The Elder Scrolls until now, but now that they're tackling Fallout and trying to nab Thief... they have the opportunity to really pull forward and show they can do different styles of games.

Amen....An expensive month too!!
All those games are 'must buys' in my opinion. Im trying to complete Orange Box before I start any of those. I've complete HalfLife 2 but still have Episode 1 and Episode 2 to go!!!!

Anyways, on Mass Effect; I'm just so glad the Official Xbox Magazine reviewer said its is probably the best game he's ever played. Mass Effect will be my Sci-Fi Shenmue, and whats best with Mass Effect - WE'RE GUARANTEED A TRILOGY!!
Im gonna get so emotionally attached to Mass Effect, I may stay in character when Im not playing it.

On the note of Assassins creed, it reminds of a medieval Hitman game with acrobats...which for me is a good thing.

Can't wait for this game. Between this, AC, and CD4, it's going to be hard to find the time to play all of them.
