i'm a Game Informer man myself.

So, they didn´t gave it a 9.9, big deal, everyone else did..
If you watch the video review, you arrive to the conclusion that it should had, at least a 9.
All he craps about is the car action, which can´t be that awful for him to give 8.5 based on that alone.
He loved the foot action of it...

All in all, i still like Gamespot, just read a bunch of others reviews too to have an idea of the big picture and not some guy.
I worship Bioware and i´m going to get the game as soon as it arrives to stores here (next Friday), but i don´t expect it to have a 10.
Not many games do, less even RPGs, which , because are too ambitious, get some parts wrong (but many right).
Bioware is the best there is, but even them aren´t flawless.
They never made real time action, so, that might end on being the weakest link (but damn good just the same).

Wowzers. So is Gamespot still the best place to find reviews?

Yes.

And all the ******s on this board who're going to call me some Gamespot-fanboy can kiss my ass. :o

I'm not going to call you a ******. just going to say there are a ton of better (and with less contradictory track records) than GS

After having the game since last Tuesday I finally beated it earlier today for my first time & I have to say I loved this game. I had such a fun time playing it more so then Assasins Creed. I really did not do any of the side quest I sort of just played through the main game for my first run but when I start up a new game playing as female Sheppard I will be taking my time the second time around & just about the only thing that annoyed me in this game was the way the guns reload but other then that it is a solid game to me. I ordered the score from Amazon :woot:

I've seen more than my fair share of reviewers and the only ones who are more often right on the money than not is Gamespot so far. Sure, like I said before they have a certain margin of error, but it's still less than what I've seen from other websites and publications.

You guys need to do some historical research. Gamespot is as close to right-on-the-money as you can get.

To the people who played it, is the Mako as fun as it looks to be?

So I've stolen my friends 360 again, I'll be trolling Mass Effect over the next few days, brace yourselves.

The idea that you will play Mass Effect before I do crushes my soul.

Clearly you've been slacking Gammy...

Now I'm torn between praising it to heaven or trolling it into the depths of hell itself.

Actually, I'm having a HELL of a time playing RE4, I'm doing the Ada Wong missions.
Then I still have GoW1 (hard mode) and GoW2 to go through

And yet you still haven't beaten MGS3.

Why the **** did you change your name WHF!!! **** you will never be as azn as I am!!!

But like in the Gamespot review, they say that thing with the land worm or whatever screws it up or is bad, is that true, or whats your take on it?

There was only one Land Worm by my count & it was annoying trying to kill that bastard but like I said from my count there was only one

I'm surpised about the bad things I'm hearing about Mass Effect.

Like on the Mass Effect forums on the website, one guy who played it is talking about the lack of interaction with NPC characters outside story missions.

honestly, I thought there'd be more of that, but what was there wasn't lacking in any way. specially with Wrex.

I won't go into details but seriously, get Wrex in your squad. stock up on charm/intimidate, or don't, it pays off greatly either way.
