I'm thinking Kurt shares leadership responsibility with Alex and Xavier at the moment. He's always been one of my favourite X-Men and he became a priest during Claremont's second run with the X-Men. It was retconned out during Chuck Austen's run.

I dont beleive Kurt was ever a priest. He was more of a priest in training. FYI, that was first seen in X-men 100, written by Claremont

As far as the leader of UXM, there is no official leader. Everyone seems to be taking their own lead

I always saw a bit of leadership skill from Kurt. Alex as well, but he always came off as a dick to me. A bit too *****y to me if that makes since.

That was editorial, not Austen. And some bits of his were good. It turned to crap with Holy War.

And it's funny you should say that Javon. Most people see Cycke as the dickish leader and Alex as being the more social one. Kurt's always been a good leader, though.

I like Nightcrawler but I didn't like it when they made him the son fo that demon thing. I thought it took away from the fact that he was a human who just looked like a demon, but no they had to ruin it and amke him an actual demon/mutant hybrid thing. He still kicks booty tho.

Sorry, pal, but Nighty's daddy isn't actually a demon. Although he implied such a thing, it was made clear that he was really just a mutant MISTAKEN for a demon.
