He has top billing still so i imagin that he will atleast be back by the middle of the movie. I hope they have a five way sword fight in this movie. Jack,Will, Norrington, Barbossa and Davy Jones. My guess is that by ths time Elizabeth and Will will have put issues to rest and Jack and Will likely will be back stabbed by Barbossa in the duel. Then Elizabeth tries to help and gets likely hurt or killed. Revealing both Jack and Will love her. She is near death and it inspires them to atlast fight together. But Norrington did not want her hurt so he fights Barbossa and Jack and Will fight Davy Jones. It reveals when she dies she loves both of them.

Her death will drive Will crazy likely but Jack may make a deal to save her. He will get Davy Jones heart back if he saves her life. Then after Jack succeeds and she is ok he makes her choose Will .

Jack sails off on his own after Barbossa takes the Pearl again. Thes are no facts or rumors. I just think this is how i would do it.

Here's an excerpt of what Gore Verbinski said about Will & Liz:

Elizabeth and Will, their love was sort of infantile in the first movie. It was very cute and pure and they are growing up. In looking at where we are going to end up in the third movie, I think the second movie is where they have to deal with real issues of love. I think in the first movie it was more storybook love. It was sort of, ‘Oh, isn’t that cute.’ It hits all the traditional buttons, but it doesn’t take you anywhere, because it’s not that complicated. In the second movie, we are dealing with real life. You deal with jealousy; you deal with how they are going to end up. For them to survive, it’s an interesting parallel which gets more elaborated in the third film which is the love story of Davey Jones and why did he pull out his heart? And how that relates to the love story of Elizabeth and Will. I mean, are they same path and are they going to pull out of that nosedive and what’s going to happen. It’s just important that the love story became more complicated. A marriage has to survive. It doesn’t exist in that storybook world.

I never said she will stay dead. I just said that Jack will likely make a deal with Jones tos ave her life. To get his heart back. In exchange for her life. then she is braught abck and Jack makes her decision for her for he leaves making her having to choose Will but its always possible she Will tells her what happened and she goes after him.

All depends how much money the two sequels make.

Jerry said that he was making a trilogy before the first one even came out. So i don't expect another one after 3. In the mean time, check out a poster collection I made...

Here's my prediction (hardly fearless) of what will happen.

-Jack will come back of course. And he will taunt Will with his Liz relationship and Will will believe it.

-Liz will flirt some more with Jack and maybe even kiss him but go back to Will Turner and they'll be stronger for it.

-Norrington will be injured and slapped some sense into by Keira Knightley, who feels he ahs betrayed them. He'll go away for a while.

-Somehow they'll find the goddess of the sea and Davy Jones' love and he will let his whole crew go (including Bootstrap Bill).

-At the end they'll trick Beckett who will be arrested for hanging by Norrington. [spoilers]Since we know that Governor Swann is a killed victim and NOrrington will replace him.[/spoiler]

-At the end Will and Elizabeth will be married on the ressurected Black Pearl by Captain Jack Spparow.

-Either Barbossa or Jack will get immortality and will pilot the Flying Dutchman (my guess is Barbossa) but I don't know if he'll go the cursed route of Davy Jones. After the first film, I doubt it.

-Elizabeth and Will will become strong pirates and either elad the Asian ship or be the second in command toJack Spparow.

Just my hypothesis.
