Thanks, it really is a mess though. From what I've been reading, Walmart decided to open pre-orders a day early and all the other retailers just decided to follow their lead and manage to screw everything up. Nobody was prepared.

That's just dumb. Not like there won't be a demand well now today. Ugh.

Well, I'm going to sleep for a couple of hours. Hopefully when I wake up and check, my order will still be safe and sound. Hopefully preordering the games and accessories won't be this much of a pain in the ass. But, I'll work on that next. good night everyone!!

Oh man sure hope not this year though man expect crap lol. You getting spiderman mm? I think i remember you being one of the few people other than me on hear that liked amazing spiderman 1 and 2 movies back when they came out lol. Maybe it went threw because it got to midnight pacific so the 17th has perorders where supposed to start than and we never got told like what time on that date.

What games are you planing to get? I know for me of the top of my head spiderman mm, watch dog legons and godfall. Was really looking foward to kenna but it got pushed back.

I already had Cyberpunk and AC Valhalla for PS4 preordered and paid off. Though I'll need to switch to the PS5 versions now.

Besides those 2, for launch, I'm going to preorder Miles and Demons Souls. I'll wait till Godfall goes on sale, now that Demons Souls is a launch title. Same with COD.

Might get Star Wars Squadron, too. but will wait for possible BF deals. Also the supposed Mass Effect Trilogy, if that is indeed real.

Early next year, the 2 main games for me are Kena and Guilty Gear Strive. Again, I'll wait for Ratchet to go on sale.

that's why I stayed up past midnight!! I suspected the "real" preordering wouldn't go live until the 17th, as it was supposed to.

Ratchet and clank is day 1 for me love that franchise so much. I am wondering if i should wait on Kena has i heard it may be digital only but may get a disc later. I always want disc. Now with games being 70 instead of like 50 i may want a little longer to get some games and wait for sales more. I almost always get games day 1 but i have a big backlog any way and i will always have a backlog lol so it dont hurt to wait.

Went to sleep cause I had to be up 5:45 for work this morning. See it went on sale on amazon and is sold out. I can’t catch a ****ing break. **** is annoying. At work now so I’m gonna be on the lookout all day.

So, after using reward points and gift cards at Best Buy, it looks like I managed to buy the disc PS5 for just under $200!

And that is why I put up with the 7 hour mess of preordering because I had been saving all those points and gift cards at Best Buy specifically for the PS5.

Got my preorders in for Miles Ultimate Edition, Demons Souls, and the Charging Station.

Along with Cyberpunk and AC Val, I think I'm all set for the start of next-gen! Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly.

I definitely think Sony shouldn't h ave dropped it randomly. But regardless, I'm happy i got mine. I kept calling every gamestop in the area, and literally stormed out the door. Made it there before lines began. Got mine, and as I headed out, lines were starting to form. feel super lucky!

Not surprised at the price bump for the new controller considering all the "gimmicks" it has now.

I was gonna pre order Demon souls (never played it) and Assassins Creed Valhalla, but i might wait. considering the fact that I'm getting the ultimate edition of Miles Morales as well as Cyberpunk, don't really see the need to right now since Cyberpunk alone is gonna last me months. But I might do it, we'll see haha.

eventually I'll get a second controller, but for now the 1 dual sense that comes with the console is enough for me.
