My r2 button broke and gamestop was nice enough to let me swap it out for a new one. 60 bucks for a new controller is absurd.

The PlayStation 4 always had the potential for emulation. In order to be an effective emulator, the machine needs to be 8x more powerful than the previous machine it's emulating. However, as a cost savings measure, Sony decided to axe backwards compatibility altogether.

It only saves them money off of PS3 b/c as that would require the actual hardware components. That's not the case with PS1 or PS2. No one is saved by not having those. In fact they lose out on money they can make off of PSN, which Im sure played into the decision to bring this back, if in fact the rumor is true

The PS1 being my favorite game console I loved the ability to play those games with the PS2 and PS3 as my PS1 no longer reads discs correctly(the consoles are actually so cheap online ive just pushed it off alot lol) I loathed the fact the PS4 didn't have at least PS1 support. Even having the digital classics backwards compatible would be great as I've gotten several PS1 and PS2 games when there was sales on the PSN.

Gosh it's been months now since we moved into current gen and there's barely any new games!

When will they all turn up? I've still got a few left to play but I'm almost in need of some new games!

March. March starts the SLEW of new games and I think it's fairly steady from that point on.

Until the summer that is.

The next major game releases (not re-releases) are:
Thief - 2/25
Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeros - 3/18
inFamous: Second Son - 3/21

Outlast will be the PS+ free game next month.

Tomb Raider will hold me over until Infamous and Metal Gear come out. I may give Thief a look, too.

I may get Infamous as my first PS4 game but IF not then the F2P games will hold me over until Destiny and wwe2k15 and IF there's a new Batman Arkham game this year

I don't play games all that much anymore and am bored of the console and games I have except GTAV,Want to go next gen already cause of the features and the F2P games interest me a whole lot,I don't care about no bc as much as others do.

I fully understand why some want to keep the PS3 longer but for me I only want the PS4 now and IF I get more than one console again like last/current gen then I'll go with PS4&XBO

I'd definitely get one now if I had a PS4. Was less interested when it wasn't linked to the console experience.

I still feel that Sony needs to add demos to the P.S. store I would like a demo for tomb raider and need for speed since I want to check them out but I don't want to buy it give me the option to try it out and then maybe I will buy it. and it's interesting how they don't have demos for their first party games like killzone and knack you'd think you would have a demo for those games

So does anyone have the new Music Unlimited?,I'm still highly considering getting it,I'm someone who loves custom music and the service seems great


Would be awesome to hear soundtracks to CBM while roaming around as my characters in DC Universe or Star Wars type of soundtracks for Destiny and Planet Side 2 or even tons of wrestling theme songs for wwe2k15,Would also be handy to me IF there's ever a GTA V port

As long as the developer can lock the framerate, I personally think that is more important. A solid 30 is perfectly fine, especially for a slower style of game, but if it dips up and down than it sucks.

But I know "60 frames!" is a big internet rage-fest right now.

Which part makes you sad? I'm excited about the no multiplayer part.
