They just released one earlier this week (the headset support update)... so probably not until next month.

Is the streaming on Playstation Live separate from Twitch and Ustream?,Like if someone is streaming the playroom on ustream does it automatically show up on Live including the comments?

Im actually surprised by that considering the supply constraint. Guessing all those X1s I see on shelves really aren't selling and being replenished

Congrats Sony,I saw some PS4's in stock at the GameStop in my mall a few days ago,I'm going to try to get one some time next week or first week of March

It's selling more in the US and likely murdering the X1 everywhere else. Even more so when supply constraints are lifted globally and it sees a release in Japan. But then it is $100 cheaper in the aftermath of a double recession. Something wrong with Microsoft's thinking on that front for sure.

It will be interesting to see if/when MS does lower the price of the X1, with or without Kinect, would that let MS gain ground over Sony?

Damn, I wish there was a way I could use the PS4 companion app, my droid isn't compatible and I don't think there's any other way to use it.

Eh, it's not really all that useful for me. I use it to check my trophies from time to time, it's never in a convenient place to use as a keyboard.

Yeah, it is. Just search Playstation.

MS will right it's course. It's seriously the PS3 attitude all over again.

I'm sure they will, but they didn't need to be in a position from which they now have to mount a big PS3 style recovery after the 360's momentum. Being at a significant initial disadvantage is all their own doing. X1's figures are still fine though if you look at them independently for a new console release rather than as a Vs competiton (and particularly given that it's launching simultaneously against another console that has started so well).

I do plan on getting the new headset pretty soon and the companion app lets you use sound presets released by devs that I'd like to use. I hope there's a way I can use that functionality

Edit: It looks like after researching this the Headset companion app is a separate app from the PS4 companion one and you can just download the headset app on the system itself, good news to see

I don't mind them doing badly for a while and hopefully learning hard lessons like Sony did (why do these guys (Microsoft & Sony) always have to get arrogant when they do well) as long as they don't do so badly that future Xboxes are ever in doubt.
