Does anyone else have any other good Marvel titles to recommend. What about Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Fantastic Four, post-Civil War Amazing Spider-Man?

I'd highly suggest picking up The Amazing Spider-Man. The past 3 to 4 issues have been really well done and have shown the Civil War in a very down the middle fashion. It's probably one of the better Civil War tie-in's as well.

FF has been solid, Moon Knight, X-Factor, I think you said youre picking up Daredevil soon. Youre set to go.

p.s. Yes, I know there's no dc there, but I just never saw anything that really appealed to me other than batman and I'm not usre where to start with his stuff so any advice would be appreciated!

Two words: Detective Comics. Trust me.

Detective Comics is now like an episode of B:TAS that ties into current continuity in every issue. It's f***ing brilliant.

Yeah, Detective is the cats pajama's. What I didn't like about the current issue was how Riddler CONVENIENTLY forgot that Bruce Wayne was Batman due to his extremely selective amnesia. Thought that was a rather poo poo move, and expected better from an awesome writer like Dini.

Meh. Youre reading too much into it. In a DC Universe where we have continuity punches, a New Earth with different origins and past events, the Riddler thing is so minute its not even funny. Thats like you actually expecting Harvey Dent to stay reformed.

Yeah, I thought the Riddler bit was a little too convenient. DC seems to want to restore Batman pretty much to the commonly held status quo post-IC. He's dark but not too dark, Jim Gordon and Harvey Bullock are once again the only faces we ever see from the GCPD, Robin's his legal son, his rogues have mostly been restored to their most recognizable forms, etc.

Oh well, dealing with that little bit of lameness is a small price to pay in order to get the Riddler out of that god-awful metrosexual look he was sporting before.

Well, he may have redeemed himself at the end of the issue. It seemed that The Riddler sort of remembered who Batman was, or maybe I'm just reading too much into that. Or Riddler thinks that Batman is Jim Gordon, heh.

I've only started reading regularly, so here's my relatively small pull list at the moment...

DC
Action Comics
All-Star Batman & Robin
All-Star Superman
Batman
Detective Comics
Justice League of America
Superman

MARVEL
Astonishing X-Men
Daredevil

I'll be picking up Nightwing come October (when Wolfman starts his run), and Star Wars: Dark Times. I'm also thinking about the new Martian Manhunter series.

Im not even a big Riddler fan and I loved him in this issue. I guess that goes to show you the whole retcon didnt bother me. And Riddler being the mastermind behind Hush was lame to me anyway.

I don't know what it is, but I've never been a fan of CA. Perhaps I shall pick up an issue or two and see if it changes my mind. Thanks for the suggestion.

You'll like it, I guarantee it.

Your Marvel list looks pretty solid.I recently dropped ASM and FF,but that's just me.I was getting sick of all the hype and excess that came with this "event".

Add Captain America.
