I'm SO sick if you guys prasing that stupid "Serenity" movie like it was the be-all end-all of sci-fi movies.

But when it comes to a better, more intelligent and better directed movie like "Superman Returns", you bash it incesantly!

FACTS:

1-Joss Whedon is an ******* and the most evil man alive. He inflicted on us "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", the most idiotic, annoying and overrated show of all time.
He turned the innocent, nice Sarah Michelle Gellar into an annoying she-woman man-hater with the acting range of a wodden plank and all the charm of a rotting slug.

2-Even Sarah Michelle Gellar, who kisses daddy Whedon's ass and has no shame (or soul, or heart) whatsoever,refused to be in the last season of "Angel".

That tell us how crappy that season was (they flushed the series down the toilet with that one).

3-I don't know if any of you fanboys know, but "Serenity" is the movie continuation of the "Firefly" series.

The same "Firefly" series that was CANCELLED, showing that not even Fox couldn't stand any more of Whedon's idiotic outings.

4-"Firefly" is nothing but a cheap rip-off of the GREAT series "Battlestar Galactica" (the REAL one, not that crappy Sci-Fi Channel wannabe).

I'll take Adama, Apollo, Starbuck and Athena over that stupid Mal REynolds guy any day of the week.

5-Fox didn't even bother to produce the movie, even thought they hold the rights to the "Firefly" TV series.

That tells you that they didn't want to soil their names with it. And you know a movie has to be crappy if the guys who created "X-Men: The Last Stand" and "Garfield" refuse to distribute it.

6-Thanks to Whedon's brainwash, now SMG's default mode is Buffy, as she showed us by turning "Scooby-Doo" into "Buffy the Vampire Slayer thinly veiled as a Scooby-Doo movie".

I'll agree with aliasman, serenity is really overrated and did'nt deserve to see itself on the big screen. it belongs on the sci-fi channal. the concept was really hokey, i mean how the **** can watch that and not feel it belongs on the sci-fi channal?! its on the same level as farscape, special effects was mediocre, although i like whedon's writing on astonishing x men, but the whole thing didnt really impress me..

seriously, this show/movie belongs on the sci-fi channal. thats why it sucked at the BO. no one was interested but the fanboy's. film didnt even break it's budget.

im sure youguys out there liked it, thats cool and all, everything has to find thier niche. but the majority does'nt, hence why it lacks appeal. to me the film sucks and is overrated. and im sure the majority would agree or would'nt be interested in the film in the first place to care.

What's funny is that I hadn't even heard or thought about Serenity in so long that I nearly forgot they even made the movie. I'm gonna go rent it today, because I know I wanted to see it, but I never acted on that.

Just because people don't "flock" to a movie, doesn't mean they didn't like it, it might mean they might not have known about it. PotC had not only more publicity but it was a sequel to a movie seen by the majority of the world. While Serenity had your basic publicity for an upcoming movie and it had to follow a show that wasn't seen around the world like PotC.

Personally I think Serenity is just decent and is more of a fan-jerk-off movie more than anything but it's decent, I enjoyed it, and I never saw the show, and care enough about the characters, what not.
