Wow, that's your great rebuttal calling someone a ******, making fun of someone for there opinion without at the very least providing anything back that up besides a condescending "I'm right your wrong" pretty much does nothing but make you look like a fool.

And also I saw the damn movie and good damn portion is about a girl who is "THE ONE". I'm sorry Wilhelm and I didn't see the show but that shouldn't be mandatory for a movie. And as I said before I thought it was okay, like a 6 or 6.5, but nothing amazing.

Your man Kevin Smith did chose a book that was so bad it was unreadable to that point. Did you read the stories in Daredevil before Kevin Smith took over, they sucked big time.

As for the cancellation of Firefly, Fox never trusted Whedon. They rewrote his Buffy the Vampire movie script to the point that he didn't even want credit as a writer on it, when he came up with the idea for a series, they sold it to WB, notice that Buffy and Angel DVD's are released by Fox. When Buffy and Angel became tentpoles for the WB, I'm sure Fox asked Whedon for another series, he gave them Firefly, they f'ed up the programming of it, showing it out of order on a night and time where their core audience wouldn't see it, big suprise it failed.

That being said, I never watched any Whedon stuff on TV, a friend got me interested in Serenity and Firefly just before the movie opened, saw a couple episodes of Firefly on Sci-Fi, thought it was good, got the DVDs, saw the movie thought it was amazing. This spring I decided to give Buffy a try in the reruns that they show on F/X, went in thinking it'd be crap like the Buffy movie and was amazed by how much I enjoyed the series. I'm on season 6 of Buffy now and season 3 of Angel, think they're both amazing shows and incredibly happy Fox passed on them because Fox would've f'ed them up.

Finally, stop being a troll, you brought up a topic just to get flamed it's ridiculous, there hasn't been a Serenity thread in a long time.

I don't know, judging a movie by a trailer seems pretty empty to me

I don't know, I guess judging a film by it's pansy-like name and trailer just seems to me like the movie equivalent of judging a book by its cover.

I assume he saw the movie, that was me, and that he thought the trailer was bad, which I also thought as well... YOu can find the post in the thread about this movie b4 it came out. It has nothing to do with what you think, it's what you posted, this isn't the Community, Community for ridiculous posts and flame wars, this is for intellectual conversation, meaning you don't insult a poster unless he's an idiot or at the very least back it up. Hand of God is a really amazing episode. That's the one that hooks most people.

And Battlestar Galactica=Much better than Firefly.
