It's called a dedication. The lead singer of Slipknot made a song for the first Spider-Man film back in 2001. That wasn't ever used.

It would really be nice if they used this song in the new movie. From what we know of it already, it sounds like it would fit really well. I really love the sound of the song, too. Very haunting and powerful.

Imagine hearing it as the credits roll.
